Whitney Rose went on her Las Vegas trip knowing that she had conflict with most of the other Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast mates. Jen Shah gave the impression that she forgave Whitney for bringing drama to her husband’s birthday party. But of course, Jen was still simmering underneath, and she took her anger out on Heather Gay of all people.
Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow hadn’t yet shared their grievances with Whitney. They were last face to face at Sharrieff Shah’s birthday where Whitney accused them of talking negatively behind Jen’s back. There was no chance of resolution before the Vegas trip. Lisa got her own ride out of town to avoid Whitney, and the tension was palpable.
But after a fun day at the racetrack, and a sincere apology from Whitney, Lisa and Meredith were able to move on during the episode. However, Jen was not pleased, and her reaction was explosive.
Whitney has a theory as to what was going on in Jen’s mind. She shared her thoughts with Andy Cohen on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live.

“I think that Jen and Lisa had a master plan to come after me in Vegas,” Whitney opined, “as you see, Jen tipped that off to me that Lisa would come after me but Jen would have my back. And when we walked into the dinner and Lisa said she had made up with me, I think it triggered Jen because the plan was changed. And she didn’t know what to do.”
Whitney maintains that Jen was reacting to a situation that she was not expecting. “And if you watch re-watch the episode,” she said, “you’ll start noticing Jen just gets really hyper-focused on ‘someone’s lying. Someone’s lying. Whitney’s lying. I never lied about anything.”

Real Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiter participated in the episode of WWHL. She had a different theory.
“I think Jen was upset that you got off easy,” Gina said. After that, she shared, “like I think Jen was like, ‘oh I accept your apology’, but she wanted you to have a punishment because it affected her life. And when you didn’t get punished, she got pissed.”
