Vicki Gunvalson is pretty well known for being possibly the worst partner to a husband in Housewives history. When the name Donn Gunvalson is dropped, you can practically hear the angels singing. He’s regarded as one of the most liked house-husbands in history. That is, if you do know your Housewives history. Perhaps what made him even more revered is the fact that he was followed by Brooks Ayers. The most disgusting vile cancer-scamming monster of all time.
It struck fans that Vicki could somehow leave her dedicated husband of 20 years, yet defend an absolute garbage person to the hilt. I guess there was that one time Donn insulted Vick at dinner, but after 20-years with the ghoul, I think he deserves a pass.
Real Housewives of Orange County super fans will remember Vicki’s climb to fame and slow degradation of her marriage. She grew famous and wanted her principled husband to take notice. She relentlessly attacked him on camera, demanded appreciation, and coined her ever-stupid “love-tank” metaphor. Meanwhile, we all know her love tank was plenty full. Don’t forget her own daughter revealed that Vicki had been cheating with Brooks during her marriage.
So Anyways, Vicki seems to have taken to insulting her new hubby-to-be Steve Lodge recently. Daily Mail reported on a recent David Yontef podcast interview where Vicki seemed to mourn the loss of her marriage to Donn. The ex-Housewife claimed, “I did everything right, except falling prey to divorce. I mean, I think that hindsight, um, I know for a fact that if I wasn’t on a reality show, I wouldn’t have been divorced.”

Blaming a reality show is quite a choice. I mean, she could have just chosen her marriage and not the show? Am I missing something? Even Donn called that one out. ON HER PRECIOUS SHOW. Maybe she wasn’t the doting, compassionate, considerate partner she seems to imagine herself as.
All business, Vicki added, “And that cost Donn and I both a lot of money because we had to split assets and alimony and all that stuff. So I paid more to him than he did to me because I had the business. So that’s hurtful and that’s hard.” We get it. You’re rich.
