Braunwyn Windham-Burke carried this entire season of Real Housewives of Orange County. It has been dark, difficult, and surprisingly honest. Braunwyn admitted that she is an alcoholic. During the coronavirus lockdown, Braunwyn told RHOC viewers that she had never used a washing machine. And that she physically hit her husband, Sean Burke, for the second time.
That is horrible. Worse yet, the incident happened in front of one of their kids. Braunwyn regretted her actions, and said that “Sean was the only thing that stood between me, and you know, a bottle of alcohol.” Again–physical violence is never acceptable.
In early December, Braunwyn shared that she is a lesbian. Her husband of 20 years hopped on Twitter to once again support his wife. “I love you. I’m proud of you. And I support you. Always,” Sean captioned a photo of the duo. Then, Braunwyn started dating a woman named Kris. A photo of the duo walking along the beach was shared by bravohousewives Instagram account. Does Braunwyn have the paparazzi on speed dial?
Braunwyn caught a lot of flak when she announced during an Instagram Story Q & A that she would “be heartbroken” if Sean started dating. Well, apparently Sean has a new girlfriend. In a recent photo, Sean and a mystery woman were seen “canoodling” while grabbing lunch.
In an interview with US Weekly Braunwyn explained how she is able to keep both relationships thriving, even though her husband and girlfriend have “absolutely” felt jealous of each other.

Braunwyn stated, “I’m leaving tonight. I’m gonna go spend the night with Kris and that’s hard for Sean. He supports me, but, yeah –that is definitely hard. Kris knows that I’m with my kids a lot, you know, and that’s hard for her because she wants to be with me,” Braunwyn shared. “It’s a new relationship, you know, but she also knows I have seven kids. I have a husband. She knew what she was getting into.” I wonder if Kris was a RHOC fan? “There’s never been any lying or anything and so she understands that too,” Braunwyn added.
“I think, for me, the most important thing is when I’m with Sean, I’m with Sean. When I’m with Kris, I’m with Kris. … [I] give them a hundred percent of me when I’m with them,” the mom of seven shared. Braunwyn thinks that keeping the two relationships separate is key. “I still just want to be very cognizant of both relationships and keeping them private because it’s not just like, I know everyone says, ‘It’s all about Braunwyn,’” the RHOC star said.

“Well, it’s actually not right now. You know, this is me trying to balance the feelings and emotions of two people I really care about. And I think trying to keep some things private is a big part of that.” But isn’t it still all about Braunwyn? Asking for a friend.
In the video clip, Braunwyn revealed that Sean and Kris have met. “They’ve hung out a couple times. But for the most part, I try to keep them separate,” she said. “This is not, and I repeat, this is not a throuple. That’s not what we’re doing here.”
