The newest member of the Real Housewives of Orange County, Elizabeth Lyn Vargas, has had quite a hard time during her freshman season. At first, her life seemed all fun and games. Elizabeth shopped for designer clothes, treated herself to a Ferrari, and bought over priced kale salad mix from Gelson’s (which is quite yummy by the way). But then we learned Elizabeth was going through a nasty divorce. On top of that, she dropped a major bomb that she had grown up in a religious cult and was abused.
There was even more drama when Elizabeth caused confusion regarding her relationship with her boyfriend, Jimmy Juarez. Elizabeth kept changing her story on whether or not they were sleeping together. When confronted, Elizabeth was unable to clarify was because her divorce wasn’t finalized. This prompted Braunwyn Windham-Burke to hire a private investigator to dig up some dirt. Now it seems Elizabeth might be dishing out some payback to Braunwyn regarding her own personal issues.
When Elizabeth confronted Braunwyn about the investigation, she let her off pretty easy. Elizabeth was calm, and there was no yelling or screaming. This was NOT a typical housewife response at all. But now, we are finally getting some housewife like behavior from Elizabeth!
Recently, Braunwyn came out as a lesbian and admitted she is currently dating another woman. Most people would assume she would want to divorce her husband, Sean Burke. But they decided to stay married. Braunwyn confused fans even further when she said she would “be heartbroken” if Sean dated someone else.

Elizabeth shared her thoughts on Instagram, and didn’t miss a beat. She wrote about Braunwyn, “I’m sorry but this is just getting to be wayyyy too much… Didn’t she just announce she’s NEVER been attracted to him EVER & she’s “SLEEPING WITH WOMEN”! Acceptable behavior because she calls it a “modern marriage” or extremely narcissistic & hypocritical…Thoughts?” Elizabeth added, “I’m just reading all the public headlines…You can’t make this shit up.”
This set off a firestorm of responses from other RHOC housewives. Kelly Dodd liked Elizabeth’s post and wrote, “I want to comment so bad haha.” Gretchen Rossi, who must still be watching the show said, “completely,” and added a face palm emoji. Real Housewives of Dallas newbie, Jen Davis added, “She gets to cheat, but he doesn’t.” But the all star comment goes to Emily Simpson. Emily wrote that Sean should, “vote himself off the island at this point.” Damn those immunity idol necklaces!

Well, Elizabeth and Braunwyn’s make-up after the camping trip was short lived! Still, it’s good to see Elizabeth finally stepping up her game, even if it’s only on social media. Maybe Elizabeth will have more to say during her second season if someone offends her.
