To say that things are getting “ugly” between Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Kelly Dodd isn’t doing it justice. What’s the latest? Kelly tweeted (and deleted), “I am not going to be blamed for her mental disorders, alcoholism, cheating, violence, & her children being depressed. She’s been in a 5150 hold.”
Even though Kelly took down the post, Braunwyn still saw it (obviously) and she took the time to address some of the things that Kelly said about her in an Instagram Story.
According to Page Six, Braunwyn said, “So once again, I’m waking up, reading some stuff and honestly, there’s certain people I work with that I’m shocked how much they get away with. How many lies they’re allowed to tell — how it seems like nothing really happens.”
She didn’t mention Kelly by name, but it was clear who she was talking about since she said, “I just want to clear something up. I’ve never been on a 5150 hold.”

Braunwyn said, “That’s a lie. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. You know, when I needed help 10 years ago, I checked myself in. So that’s a different situation. But, 5150 holds are good for people who need them. There’s no shame in that. There’s no shame in mental health issues.”
In case anyone was wondering, a 5150 hold is is one someone is involuntarily checked in for a psychiatric evaluation, for up to 72 hours. Britney Spears famously went through a 5150 hold back in 2008.
