I must confess that I have mixed feelings about Real Housewives of Orange County newbie Elizabeth Lyn Vargas. There is so much confusion about what she says, and what is actually the truth.
We do know that Elizabeth is the CEO/Founder of digital music label and streaming service Edge Music. In an earlier episode of RHOC this season, Elizabeth told her friend, Kelly Dodd, and Gina Kirschenheiter that she was under a strict gag order regarding her divorce from billionaire Bernt Bodal.
Their divorce was finalized in July 2020. From “December 1, 2017, Berndt agreed to pay [Elizabeth] $31,000 per month until either parties’ death, Petitioner’s remarriage, or until further order of court.” Elizabeth’s monthly clothing budget when she was married to Bernt was $20,000 to $30,000. Same, Elizabeth. Same.
The other Orange County Housewives are sick of hearing Elizabeth brag about her wealth and rock-star life. There is also some confusion about Elizabeth’s boo, Jimmy Juarez. Before her divorce was final, Elizabeth said that she and Jimmy didn’t have sex. Then she refused to say when they started dating. Elizabeth even said that Jimmy wasn’t aware that she was married when they “met” last year. A parody fan account, Donn Gunvalson (no relation to Vicki Gunvalson’s ex-husband Don Gunvalson) shot down Elizabeth’s story. They posted a photo to Twitter that shows Elizabeth posing with some friends in 2016. And yes, Jimmy is there.
In the most recent episode of RHOC, Braunwyn Windham-Burke did some sleuthing and discovered that Elizabeth has some allegedly shaky finances. Braunwyn found out that Elizabeth has two loans on her Newport house, and has listed her house as available for guests on a property rental site. A Housewife with secret financial issues? I am shocked and appalled!

Elizabeth admitted to Gina that she couldn’t be truthful to the cameras before quarantine. Why couldn’t she be truthful? Is it about her finances? Or her relationship with Jimmy?
Well, never fear, because Elizabeth is dropping some coin on luxe holiday gifts for her RHOC co-stars. Elizabeth told Page Six, “I ordered them Louis Vuitton face masks, I don’t know if I’m going to get them in time, because they’re backordered,” she stated. “So I’m hoping they come.”
The retail price for the Louis Vuitton’s monogram tapestry bandana and mask cover set is $490. “They’re super badass. I have them myself,” Elizabeth commented. “You can breathe through them. They cover your nose and your face and your mouth … and they look super rad.”

Elizabeth remarked, “Ultimately, you run out the door not just with your cell phone, your wallet and your purse, [but also] with a mask, so it’s an accessory now.” Or a device to keep yourself and other safe.
”Even if they’re not functioning– some of them just don’t work at all –at least you have it on and you’re making a conscious effort and you’re respecting others and their needs,” Elizabeth added. I am interested to see if bribery wins over any of the RHOC ladies.
