Another day, another baby announcement from the cast of Vanderpump Rules. It’s been a lot. And while babies are a blessing, it’s hard to see a bunch of drama-drenched reality tv stars giving the gift of life. I mean, honestly. Does anyone really think these people are ready for kids? But hey, it is what it is and the babies are coming. That’s how babies work, after all.
With the most recent baby announcement from Jax Taylor and wife Brittany Cartwright, people have a lot of split opinions. Some fans are over the moon and others don’t even want to think about these two procreating. But aside from fans, sounds like the rest of the cast is pretty excited for these two.
An unlikely cast member is even rooting for them. James Kennedy has had a very long and rough history with Jax. But he’s set all that aside to tell Page Six just how excited he is for them.
According to James, Jax is going to be an “amazing dad.” He said, “I truly believe that. I think he’s going to be a great father. I’m really, really happy for them.”

James attributes his newfound excitement for Jax to them being in a different place now that he’s gotten sober. James explained, “We’ve been fine ever since I stopped drinking and pretty much focused on the other things, the more positive things in my life.
He continued, “I haven’t really had time or a need to be starting beef with anybody. I can’t be bothered with it anymore really.” James not beefing with anyone? That really is a first. Then again, we are in the off season. Who really beefs in the off season? Get back to me when you have cameras in front of your face.

As for the rest of the cast having babies, James said, “I’m really happy for everybody. It’s amazing to see everyone taking their relationships to the next level, starting families, and I’m so happy for everybody, Brittany, Lala [Kent], and Stassi [Schroeder]. I’m happy for all three of them.”
It’s nice to hear James coming from such a positive place. And I’m so happy to hear he’s sober. But one thing is still unsure – how is Bravo going to handle VPR now that everyone is moving on to adult things? Like I said before, babies are a blessing. But are they really entertainment?
