Even though Real Housewives of New York Season 12 just ended, fans are already looking ahead to Season 13, specifically in regard to casting. Tinsley Mortimer left in the middle of Season 12. Dorinda Medley got fired after a rough season belittling Tinsley, reminding Luann de Lesseps that she has a mugshot, and refusing to listen to anyone who disagrees with her.
Leah McSweeney held off on filming Season 13, hoping to get a pay raise for her second season. It’s unclear exactly what happened in terms of dollar amounts, but Leah did confirm that she will be back for another season. Elyse Slaine, who isn’t technically a cast member, shared that she will not be on the show next season. So, that leaves Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, and Luann de Lesseps. What’s going on with them?
According to a screenshot shared by Queens of Bravo someone commented on Ramona’s Instagram, “You’re coming back next season, right?”
In response, Ramona said, “Yes I’m coming back.” As much as some fans cannot stand Ramona for her antiquated views and self-importance, she can occasionally drum up an endearing “I’m sorry” and a funny moment here and there. It’s really not surprising that she is one of the very few OG Housewives that is still a cast member without taking any breaks.

Nevertheless, the OG Housewife is rarity these days. Teresa Giudice is Real Housewives of New Jersey. Kyle Richards is still pulling the puppet strings on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And that’s it. Luann has been around since Real Housewives of New York Season 1, but she did have one season as a part-time cast member, so it really just depends on how you view things in terms of who has stuck around since the start.
It’s unclear if Luann and Sonja are coming back, but considering that no announcement has been made, it’s fair to assume they will be on the show for Season 13. It has also been reported that Bershan Shaw will be joining the show as the first Black cast member.

I just want to know how Ramona is going to handle it when she can’t have a 50-person party in the midst of a pandemic.
