Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams got arrested at a peaceful protest again. Her late grandfather, civil rights leader Hosea Williams, would be very proud of her. She’s come a long way since the day she admitted she thought the underground railroad involved an actual train.
Now, she’s speaking up and putting in the time, hoping to make a difference and bring justice during the Black Lives Matter movement.
Wave News reported that Porsha was one of at least 64 people who got arrested in Louisville, Kentucky for participating in a peaceful protest. This is her second arrest this year, for the same thing. They are facing misdemeanor charges for disorderly conduct and obstructing a highway.
She was participating in a protest organized by a civil activist group called Until Freedom along with others who were marching through Louisville during a “Day of Action” planned by the organization. The walked from a park, past the Lousiville Metro Police Department Training Academy, and, ultimately, police officers blocked them from moving forward.
