90 Day Fiance Star Darcey Silva Dishes On Her New Man From Bulgaria

The last time we saw the Silva twins, Darcey Silva broke up with Tom Brooks on 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days. Tom was already seeing another woman when he flew to New York to dump Darcey. It was messy, but she took the breakup like a champ and vowed to work on herself before looking for love again.

When news came out about their TLC spinoff Darcey & Stacey, it seemed like a hybrid of Silva power and 90 Day Fiance. Except Stacey Silva’s relationship would have been the focus. Stacey and Albanian fiance Florian have been dating long-distance for five years. But a newly released trailer reveals that Darcey is also sharing a relationship with the cameras.

Darcey and Stacey spoke with Entertainment Tonight about the trailer and maybe it’s not a surprise that Darcey has a new man or that he is foreign. The pressing question would the new suitor’s nationality. And it looks like Darcey is following in Stacey’s footsteps by pursuing a relationship with a Balkan man.

Darcey is now dating Georgi, from Bulgaria. He’s tall, muscular, handsome and, according to Darcey, the real deal.

“Honestly, I am really, really happy in my life right now,” Darcey gushed, “I felt like I’ve moved on from the past, taking time to heal myself inside and out, and I was ready for love again. I have an open heart and he’s an amazing guy.”

Darcey said, “He’s someone who has a different demeanor than the last two, thank god. For me, I feel like I get to honor myself and say what I want in a relationship. He’s very patient with me, calm and so understanding and we have a lot of fun. I mean, let alone, he’s a hot, sexy Bulgarian guy, who wouldn’t want that?”

Without giving away too much, Darcey hinted at a happy ending with Georgi. “I tend to love big, and I’m a big giver and so is he, so you guys will see a lot of that journey…and what our future possibly holds,” she said.

Fans have followed Darcey on her journey through two doomed relationships. The first with Jesse Meester from the Netherlands and then with Brit Tom. When asked which was the better boyfriend, Darcey replied, “neither.”

“I learned from the past,” Darcey continued, “I learned what I don’t want. I’ll cherish the good memories but all in all, it was both, like, a toxic situation. I never expected it to happen that way but I love big and I give big and they just…were too hard to handle. I didn’t just want to be involved with someone who was kinda going to lower my worth and I knew I was going to rise above in the end. I definitely healed from that. My idea is what I choose now in my life and I’m never gonna settle for less.”

Darcey’s best TV moments were times spent with her daughters. And Darcey claims that she has taken time to heal and grow and be a role model for her girls. Darcey also reveals that she holds no ill will towards her exes.

“I’ve stayed strong for myself and for my daughters and I don’t look back,” Darcey said, “I wish them well. I just, for me, know what I deserve and I’m gonna honor myself with that. I’m loving life right now. I’m really happy. I’ve worked on myself. I’ve done the things and steps to make myself feel good. If you want love and really feel like deserve it, you gotta love yourself first.”

The twins were asked why they gravitate towards foreign men. They agreed that they may be influenced by their travels as children, but ultimately just looking for a “connection.”

The show will also focus on their family life. Darcey said, “I think you’ll get a lot of laughs. You’ll definitely probably cry alongside with us at times and Stacey’s got some surprises, too.”

Stacey promised, “a lot of big surprises and spiciness. And I think you guys will fall in love with our family.”
