Kandi Burruss’ Husband Todd Tucker Opens Restaurant Named After Their Daughter Blaze

Mama Joyce has been dragging Todd Tucker for years, calling him a “lemon” and some other nasty names. Todd gets a lot of flack for Kandi Burruss being the breadwinner in their relationship, but it’s not as if he’s just sitting home doing nothing. He is working hard on his projects in addition to taking care of their two youngest children.

Sure, most of them were probably started with some seed money from Kandi, but he actually is putting effort into his restaurants and creating some jobs in Atlanta, which is a great thing. And, now he has opened another restaurant, which is interesting timing given the pandemic and all, but if he can provide some jobs for people during this time, then I’m all for it.

Todd shared a photo of a restaurant with the sign “Blaze Steak & Seafood,” which is clearly named in honor of their daughter Blaze Tucker.

In his announcement, Todd shared, “I live in Southwest Atlanta and always asked why we don’t have certain restaurants in our area (Black Area). But I’m not asking any more! I will build what we want and what we need in our communities!”

Then he (seemingly) joked, “They better not let me figure out how to build my own grocery store!” Todd finished off his post with these hashtags: “#blackowned #buytheblock #liveinourcommunity.”

Kandi was there to support her man Todd in the comments section, writing, “Make it happen babe!!! She also included some heart emojis with her comment. Marlo Hampton kept it simple, just sharing a bunch of fire emojis, which is probably a play on the name “Blaze.”

Cynthia Bailey commented that she was “so excited” about the restaurant opening.
