Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After was full of drama! Almost every couple had some type of crazy confrontation that left me shaking my head. I have to admit, I loved every minute of watching the shit show unfold. Some couples may bounce back, but some may never be the same.
Andrei Castravet continues to spiral out of control at a family dinner. Jess Caroline confronts Colt Johnson about his friend, Vanessa Guerra. Karine Staehle gives Paul Staehle a final ultimatum. Asuelu Pulaa‘s family turns on him. Larissa Dos Santos Lima and Eric Nichols reopen Pandora’s Box. Angela Deem asks Michael Ilesanmi to make a big decision. Let’s get straight into the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After recap!
Colt (Las Vegas, Nevada) & his mom Debbie ex-wife Larissa (Brazil)
The last time we saw Colt he was lounging casually while his mom throws a whole shade tree at his girlfriend, Jess. Debbie Johnson showed her why you don’t mess with a mama wife bear. Not only did she spill the beans about Colt’s friend, Vanessa, is cat sitting, she managed to convince her son that Jess has jealousy and anger issues.
Basically, this is his relationship with Larissa all over again, same script, only a different cast. I wish I could feel bad for Jess, but she did start a war when she put her hand in Debbie’s face and cursed at her at that infamous dinner. She is lucky she was just embarrassed and taken down a few notches. I know a few moms who would have flipped the table faster than Teresa Giudice.
Colt returns to his room feeling guilty for hiding his friendship with Vanessa from Jess. When Jess returns to the l room she is furious that Colt lied to her. Colt is left cowering in a corner after Jess throws her heels and screams at him in a decibel only she can understand. Jess storms out of the room with all of her bags only for Colt to follow and offer zero help.

I guess he figured after she threw those heels like a seasoned quarterback she would have no issue carrying a bag. Colt attempts to plead his case, but his words fall on deaf ears. She threatens to sleep with her ex, before jumping into a cab and speeding off. Poor Colt, he probably ran back to his mommy’s room to cry.
After taking a call from Eric’s roommate, Larissa is nervous that Eric is going to call the police to get her deported. I guess she forgot the part where she decided to steal his phone. After speaking with her friend, she decides to return to Eric’s house to argue with him. Larissa is furious that Eric dared to speak badly to other people about her. She demands to know every single thing he has said about her. When he claims that he can’t remember, she wants nothing more to do with him, but refuses to move out. Sigh!
Instead of using her 90 Day Fiance paycheck for Botox and plastic surgery, I need her to secure her own home. She is wayyyyy too old to have other people control her life, just to have a place to live. In a confessional, Larissa claims she doesn’t have a lot of sexual experience. She is hurt Eric would complain publicly about their sex life, when he never said anything to her.
Kalani (Orange County, CA) and Asuelu (Samoa)
It’s the morning after Kalani Faagata and Asuelu arrived in Washington to see his family. Thankfully, Asuelu is in better spirits than he was the night before when he was frustrated about not getting to see his family. Strangely, these they bond over having individual ghost encounters at the house they rented.
Hopefully, they leave immediately, this couple doesn’t need any more negative spirits involved in their relationship. Shortly after Kalani’s sister, Kolini, arrives they meet with Asuelu’s family. Things get a bit awkward when Asuelu’s mom greets him with a long kiss on the lips. I’m not saying anything is amiss, but that was the most passionate mother and son kiss I have ever seen. Even Kalani points out how weird she felt witnessing it. Asuelu denied there was lip to lip contact, but it sure looked that way.
After buying everyone dinner, Asuelu tells his family he can only afford to give them a $100. His mom is not happy with the amount. When Asuelu explains he only has a part-time job, his sister suggests that he get a full-time job one so he can help his family. Talk about nerve! To add insult to injury, his mother recommends Kalani’s parents take care of their grandchildren since they have money.

Kalani interjects and is told “it’s none of your business.” If you are discussing my husband handing out money like it grows on trees, it is most certainly my business. Kalani handled that well. If she told me everything someone else could do so that I could give her monetary gifts, my reaction would have been very different.
Tania (Colchester, Connecticut) and Syngin (South Africa)
Syngin and Tania head out to visit his brother after he is released from the hospital. When he accelerates the car too quickly, Tania gets scared and starts crying. She still has anxiety after her car accident. During the visit, Syngin becomes emotional listening to his brother recounting the details of his near-death experience. I am actually very proud of Tania. She managed to go a day without making everything about herself. That is definitely progress.

Tania has a girl’s day out with Syngin’s mom and sister. She shares some of the problems that she and Syngin have had throughout their marriage. His mom believes they both need to learn how to compromise. Syngin is a free spirit and Tania is controlling so this match was always a recipe for disaster.
Elizabeth (Tampa, FL) & Andrei (Moldova)
Let’s get ready to rumble!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In this corner, we have the Macho Moldovan. In the other corner is Chunky Charlie. When we last left these two, they were on the verge of punching each other in the face. Thankfully, the sober people at the table managed to stop the fight, before any more damage was done. Elizabeth is in an impossible position. She is stuck between her brother and her controlling husband. Each man demands that she say something to the other.
Elizabeth’s father, Chuck is shocked that Andrei is treating them so poorly as guests in his country. Andrei continues to demand that Elizabeth tell her family to leave and go back to the U.S immediately. Umm, I think they can hear you, in fact, the entire table can. After being pushed to her limit, Elizabeth pulls Andrei from the table leaving everyone stunned. Honestly, if Elizabeth’s dad continues to keep paying the tab for his son-in-law after this, he can only blame himself. I understand Andrei may have felt like he was being interrogated, but his response crossed the line. If I had traveled thousands of miles on short notice and was treated like this, I would be done.

When Andrei comes back to the restaurant angry his friend attempts to calm him down, to no avail. Meanwhile, Chuck is in the restaurant apologizing for the night being ruined. Although Elizabeth believes that Andrei caused things to escalate, she leaves with him anyway. Personally, I would have stayed with my family. Andrei is in his home country and is with his friends. I wouldn’t have left my father and brother with people they barely know in a foreign country. Also, there is the fact that her family just arrived with last-minute notice for THEIR wedding.
Angela (Hazlehurst, Georgia) and Michael (Nigeria)
After giving Michael some time to think, Angela wants to know if he still intends to marry her if she can’t have a baby. She is willing to try, but considering her age and health, it’s a long shot. Michael says he is willing to give up on his dream of having children, but now he is worried about his mom’s reaction. Of course, Angela doesn’t give a damn what Mama Michael thinks and doesn’t understand why he does as a grown man. Sigh!
If Michael is willing to give up on being a father, why should he give up his family as well? He is going to have to handle this situation with care, if he doesn’t want to risk losing his mother’s blessing.

Michael invites his aunts to help him and Angela plan their wedding. When Angela reveals she intends to have an American style wedding in Nigeria, his family is taken aback. Things go even further downhill when Angela admits that the likelihood of her having a baby is slim to none. His aunts aren’t happy, but they think Michael’s mom is the one who will be the biggest hurdle. Good luck Angela! Michael’s mom only agreed to this wedding because she promised her son a child.
Paul (Louisville, Kentucky) & Karine (Brazil)
It’s another day and another reason why Karine is fed up with Paul. When he sits down to speak with his wife, she gives him an ultimatum. If he doesn’t find a job in 2 months, she is going back to Brazil. I knew it was only a matter of time, before there was a problem. I don’t think I could handle being stuck with Paul all day either. With his criminal record and just general bad luck, 2 months doesn’t sound promising.
