I would be hard pressed to find someone who isn’t a fan of Porsha Williams. And if you’re not, please stand up and explain yourself to the class! The longtime Real Housewives of Atlanta peach has really emerged as a fan favorite over the last few years and it’s not hard to see why.
Not only does Porsha serve us the best looks and realness on the show, but she has come a long way. That is a major understatement. Long gone are the days of her being Mrs. Kordell Stewart. Porsha is her own person, becoming the activist we all need in this crazy world. After all, it’s in her blood. Porsha has opened up about being at protests as a child with grandfather and well known civil rights activist, Hosea Williams.
Now Porsha is taking activism to the next level. TMZ reports that Queen Porsha was arrested while fighting for justice at a Breonna Taylor protest. The demonstration was taking place in Louisville, Kentucky and Porsha was just one of many attendees. The reason for her arrest was staying and organizing on property after demonstrators were told they were breaking the law in doing so. The protesters were warned by police but opted to stay and peacefully protest instead.
Before her arrest, Porsha posted an image to her Instagram with a sun symbol and the words, “It’s A Beautiful Day To Arrest The Cops That Murdered Breonna Taylor.” Her caption on the post reads, “We’re in Louisville and our bottom line is there MUST be JUSTICE for #BREONNATAYLOR.”

There are multiple videos of Porsha being led away in handcuffs on social media. She was cited for criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and intimidating a participant in the legal process.
Following Porsha’s arrest, her sister, Lauren Williams, posted to Porsha’s account. It shows a video of Porsha stating that today would end with her being “in handcuffs”. Lauren captioned the video, “This is Lauren posting on behalf of Porsha! Please keep tagging #BreonnaTaylor#BreonnaTaylor #BreonnaTaylor let’s keep saying her name.”

Castmate Tanya Sam showed love on her own Instagram, sharing a video of Porsha being led away in handcuffs. Tanya posted, “@porsha4real you are my SHERO and inspiration to so many. Thank your nonstop championing for JUSTICE.”
Now that Porsha has been released, she took to her own social media, posting a picture of herself and Breonna’s mother. Both women have their fists raised in the air and are wearing masks. Porsha captioned the photo, “It was my pleasure! I love you and as always praying for you Ms.Tamika Palmer (Mother of #BreonnaTaylor ) Ps: Thank you for waiting on us to get out! It was heartwarming exiting and seeing your family.”

There’s no doubt that Porsha is making her grandfather, along with her own family and all her fans, very proud.
