Normally, reality TV is lighthearted and provides a sense of escape. However, today’s reality stars are taking on important causes, Black Lives Matter. Bethenny Frankel raised funds for 100 black-owned businesses in less than 24 hours. Porsha Williams joined in on the protest and even offered bail money and lawyers to people who got arrested. She also detailed her experience getting tear-gassed at the peaceful protest. Other reality stars used their voices, demanding justice for George Floyd and all of the other African Americans who have been profiled and treated unfairly.
Bravo recently announced that there will be a special two-part episode of Watch What Happens Live on Monday, June 8 at 11 PM. The special will focus on the Black Lives Matter movement.
Bravo’s The Daily Dish reported that Andy Cohen will moderate a virtual discussion with Porsha and W. Kamau Bell, a comedian and activist.

Aside from the Watch What Happens Live appearance, Porsha and her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star Kandi Burruss will take part in a discussion that will stream on @BravoTV’s Instagram Live on Monday, June 8 at 7 p.m. Eastern.

Real Housewives of Potomac cast member Gizelle Bryant will also participate in the talk. The panel called Amplify Our Voices: An Open Dialogue on Being Black in America will be hosted by Justin Sylvester from the E! show Daily Pop.
