If only we could travel back in time to Vanderpump Rules season 4. Lala Kent was a sassy newbie who many fans rooted for when the mean girls tried everything they could to exclude her from the show. Then, Lala acquired private jet access, and all of a sudden she’s in the “cool” clique. It seems like she forgot where she came from; i.e. who was nice to her when no one else was.
Ariana Madix and Scheana Marie welcomed were the only people who were nice to Lala at the beginning. Now, Lala is dragging them every chance she gets. Lala slammed Ariana for only wanting to be her friend when she’s in a crisis. She also claimed that Scheana was “uninteresting,” but what storyline does Lala have? Other than belittling Raquel Leviss constantly, nothing really comes to mind.
During a recent episode of the podcast Behind the Velvet Rope With David Yontef, Scheana was asked about Raquel’s comment that Lala thinks she’s better than everyone else. Scheana stated, “I think that’s pretty apparent. Lala literally said ‘I’m gonna remind you of your place’ aka ‘you’re here and I’m here’ and I hate that.”
Scheana echoed the fan sentiment when she remarked, “I hate that attitude. I think it’s so unattractive. It’s mean and no one is better than anyone.” The “Good as Gold” singer emphasized, “I just absolutely hate that attitude.” Same here, Scheana.

The podcast host asked, “Do you think Lala has changed a lot since she’s been on the show?” Scheana answered, “Yes and that’s all I’ll say about that.” However, she had a lot more to say about that.
Scheana said Lala “used to be a lot sweeter” when she first joined the show. She added, “I still have those moments with her when she is really sweet and I see what she says about me on the after-show and in interviews and it’s just like I don’t know what to believe. I feel like she’s more real when she’s talking shit about me [than when] she’s being nice.” That would be correct. Lala is NOT your friend, Scheana. Run…. and fly commercial instead of hanging out with this person.

Then she was asked to name the cast member who has let fame get to their head the most. Of course, Scheana said Lala, reminding us all, “She has that ‘I’m better than you’ attitude.” Scheana recalled that she was “such a sweetheart.”
Scheana explained, “She has more followers than a lot of us and she just thinks she’s [above us].” She also shot down claims that Stassi Schroeder is actually the one with the biggest ego in the cast. Scheana said, “The thing with Stassi is she’s a pretty selfish person, which she admits, but she’s not mean and hurtful the way she used to be.” The early seasons were not flattering for Stassi, but they did serve as the foundation for this show.

Scheana shared that Stassi has “grown a lot and she’s more genuine. She still can definitely be a bitch, but I don’t think she’s like ‘I’m so famous.'” She added, “Stassi has gotten more genuine with the fans and she appreciates everything she’s been given.” In contrast, Scheana remarked, “I just wish Lala could be a little more like that because she just comes off very harsh. Honestly, it hurts my feelings. It’s just mean and it’s hurtful because I’ve never been anything but nice to her.”
When she was asked if “other people feel the same way,” Scheana said “yes” without hesitation. She said, “I’m not the only one who feels that way.” And why would she? Scheana recalled, “She said there’s nothing interesting about watching a 34-year-old who wears crop tops and slutty JoJo Siwa ponytail doing the same thing over and over. But, then she wants me to do her podcast, but there’s ‘nothing interesting about me,’ so why do you want to interview me?” That’s a great question. Oh, the hypocrisy.

Scheana categorized Lala’s behavior as “hurtful more than anything, but that’s just her” and apparently, we are all stuck watching her on our TV screens.
