Kenya Moore Says Real Housewives Of Atlanta Cast Needs A Shakeup; Comments On Possibility Of Yovanna Momplaisir Joining The Cast

Every cast needs a good overhaul every now and then. In my humble opinion, unless we have a golden cast full of storylines, these shake-ups should be on the semi-regular. But I’ve said it before and I will say it again, Real Housewives of Atlanta is my favorite franchise. Season after season, they deliver. Even when their storylines are meh, the cast is strong enough to entertain their audience.

But as much as I love my RHOA, I could always do without Miss Nene Leakes. I can’t even hide it, guys. I’m sorry if you don’t agree with me but I must speak my truth! Despite being an OG and central cast member, NeNe brings nothing to the table. She hasn’t since her glory days of Kim Zolciak and Sheree Whitfield feuds. On top of that, she can’t stand to see any of her castmates succeed. For someone always talking about her own success, you would think she would be happy that there is enough to go around. Finally, she regularly refuses to film and storms off when things don’t go her way. See this past season’s reunion.

Another person who I’m sure wouldn’t be upset if NeNe didn’t make the cut would be nemesis Kenya Moore. While she didn’t outright name her, Kenya started spilling some tea about the idea of a new cast. In an exclusive interview with Hollywood Life, Kenya said the show would benefit from a “cast shake-up”.

Kenya elaborates, “Listen, I’m not a network, I’m not the production company. I won’t speak to who should be back and who shouldn’t be back, but I definitely think we need a cast shake-up. I think that we need fresh faces. I think [with] all of the franchises, what keeps them interesting is that you have new people, so I think that we definitely need some new people.”

The only person Kenya would talk about is Friend of the Housewives and newfound enemy of NeNe, Yovanna Momplaisir. While Yovanna was only known for limited appearances on season 11 and 12, we recently talked about how she might be a full-time cast member for season 13. Kenya isn’t so sure.

Kenya explained, “[TMZ] didn’t say that she would be a peach holder, but I don’t think she would be anything full-time other than full-time of BS. I’m kind of over her and the situation and to see that she was plotting to dig up. Why would you want to do that? Just so you could be a part of the show? I’ve never done anything to her personally to have her plotting against me and trying to embarrass me and my family, so it’s a no for me.”
