Lala Kent Says She & Randall Emmett Have Almost Broken Up A Dozen Times In Quarantine

As we’ve seen on social media, quarantine for the rich and famous looks a lot different. Stuck inside their sprawling mansions and forced to endure the gorgeous LA weather, many stars’ quarantines look like a vacation. But one thing we do have in common with our favorite celebs during the coronavirus pandemic? Their relationships are being put to the test just like ours are.

For Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent, quarantine has been an emotional time. She and fiancé Randall Emmett were supposed to tie the knot on April 18th. She’s expressed her disappointment both about their wedding being postponed until July, and not being able to have a bridal shower or bachelorette party. And while this time should have been spent in wedded bliss, Lala is revealing how the couple is really holding up during quarantine.

Speaking to Page SixLala explains how being stuck at home with Randall has put a strain on their relationship. “Well Randall and I have almost broken up about a dozen times, so, you know you, this is definitely a test for people’s relationships, but it’s so crazy because you know you sit there and you start bickering about little things and you start over-analyzing everything and like we really have just like elevated our relationship in such an amazing way.”

I will agree with Lala on this. Being stuck at home for almost two months with your significant other is the ultimate test of a relationship. I’m in the same boat, and let me tell you, quarantine is not bringing out the best in me. Patience and understanding are a thing of the past these days.

But Lala explains how despite their bickering, these “almost breakups” were false alarms. “Like, I know we’re always gonna argue and of course we were never really going to end the relationship, but ya know, you’re stuck with someone, um, but there was, ya know, we’re in such a great place I didn’t even think we could get any better.” Arguing is, of course, a natural part of a relationship. When you’re forced to stay home 24/7 with your significant other, you’re going to learn things about that person. Things that may send you over the edge annoy you.

While co-stars Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor are working on starting their family during quarantineLala says the baby-making is on hold for her and Randall. “I would like two [kids], Randall wants one, so we’ll have two,” Lala says. Of course Lala will get her way, even when it comes to how many kids they have. “I had made an appointment with my gynecologist to talk about, you know, starting to get it moving, because I was ready! I was gonna do that on April 9th, and Randall and I had discussed, like, let’s make babies, and then this whole thing happened!”

Well, hopefully, these two can survive quarantine. Until this thing ends, it looks like Lala’s main focus will be making sure they make it down the aisle!
