I, for one, am really happy for Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute. She’s put the Carter chapter of her life behind her, and has found love with her new boyfriend Alex Menache. After everything Kristen has been through in the love department, I think she really deserves a solid, stable relationship. I have high hopes for this one.
The new couple was recently photographed out in Los Angeles running errands during quarantine. But when a website claimed that Kristen looked pregnant in the photographs, Kristen held nothing back as she slammed the rumors.
Taking to Twitter, Kristen wrote: “YOUR headline is that I’m pregnant – which I’m not – so you’re calling me fat for not sucking in like some IG fake model when I was caught running errands during quarantine? GO TO HELL. You are what is wrong with women’s body images.”
Kristen then continued to slam the reporter on her Instagram account. “If you’re on Twitter, block this bitch. She gets off on shaming not only me, but my cast members and anyone else trying to entertain you. This isn’t journalism, it’s f—ing cruel,” Kristen wrote on her Instagram story.

The pregnancy speculation comes from the photos in this DailyMail article. While the photos may have been taken from a deceiving angle, I have to hand it to Kristen. No one should be body shaming anyone, let alone spewing pregnancy rumors. I’m glad she is standing up for herself.
It’s been reported that Kristen’s boyfriend Alex does want to get married and have kids. Maybe the reporter was feeding into that speculation? Even still, the body-shaming is just wrong. We should all just be happy that Kristen has found someone other than Carter. While we still don’t know much about Alex, we do know her friends like him. Miracles do happen!

Kristen has been spending a lot of time on Twitter during the quarantine. Last week she was publicly feeding with co-star Katie Maloney on Twitter over their Witches of Weho wine. I am totally team Kristen in this Witches of Weho saga, both the wine line and their non-existent friendship. Overall, I am here for her calling people out and telling her side of the story!
Now that she’s cleared up the rumors, I hope Kristen can ignore the negativity online and focus on her relationship. Between her breakup with Carter and losing her two best friends, I am rooting for this one to work out!
