Anfisa Nava came off as a bit of a hustler on 90 Day Fiance. She made constant financial demands. Husband Jorge Nava could hardly keep up with the material lifestyle Anfisa demanded. It’s easy to speculate that Anfisa was only in the marriage for a green card. In a misguided effort to provide, Jorge “business” dealings ended up in an arrest and jail sentence.
But they stuck it out for two seasons on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After. Once Jorge went to serve time, Anfisa started to reinvent herself as a personal trainer and fitness competitor. The time apart compounded difficulties, and the yesterday the two shared and update about their relationship.
According to an article by HollywoodLife, Jorge thinks his transformation while in jail led to Anfisa pushing him away. He said, “I think she was just jealous of the attention that I was getting. The news about my weight loss didn’t sit with her very well.”
Jorge revealed an 128 pound weight loss in November 2019. Losing roughly half his body weight had an effect on Anfisa, according to Jorge. He explained, “I believe so because at that very moment in time, that’s when she blocked my phone calls, and I kind of was starting to lose contact with her. She did tell me like right off the bat, like the day after, that she didn’t want anything to do with me and that it was over.”

In March, Jorge revealed to TMZ that Anfisa, “abandoned [him] while he’s been doing time, and ran off to be with another guy.”
Anfisa responded that, “Jorge and I were on the verge of divorce before he went to prison, but once it happened, I wanted to stay by his side and support him in this difficult situation. However, the whole time I felt like I had a weight on my shoulders that wouldn’t let me be happy. I knew I had to end it, and it would be better for the both of us, so Jorge and I talked about it and mutually decided to part ways a few months ago and agreed to divorce once he’s released.”

Anfisa is moving on with another man, but claims that meeting her new boyfriend did not influence the decision to divorce Jorge. “I’m surprised to see him saying that I ‘abandoned’ him,” she said, “I didn’t leave him to be with another man, I left because I didn’t want to be with him anymore. I took this time alone to heal myself. People grow apart sometimes, it doesn’t mean the relationship wasn’t genuine from the start.”
Anfisa posted a pic with her new man on March 18th. She captioned the pic, “quarantine and chill.”
