This tension between NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore is just not that deep, yet it is brewing so strongly. Kenya claimed that her issues with NeNe stem from NeNe referring to Kenya’s daughter as a “buffalo” while she was pregnant. But, in all honesty, these two have been going back and forth with the petty gestures and it’s just not that serious.
Now, NeNe has a new theory about Kenya’s issues with her. She thinks that Kenya wants to be the new NeNe and Kim Zolciak on. Let’s be honest: very few Real Housewives relationships have provided us with as much entertainment value as Kim and NeNe did. They have the most hysterical dynamic when they get along and they really go for it with their insults when they are fighting. They just always entertain. In contrast, this Kenya vs. NeNe fight is just wearing us out. What are they even fighting about? Does anyone even know at this point?
On the Real Housewives of Atlanta After Show, Marlo Hampton told NeNe, “There’s just something with you two.” She should know. Marlo also has a never-ending feud with Kenya. However, NeNe told Marlo, “There’s nothing with us.”
Then, NeNe theorized, “She want[s] me and her to be me and Kim Zolciak because that’s what we used to be. I know in her head, she’s like ‘Me and NeNe will be the new Kim and NeNe,’ right? That’s in her head. She thinks every situation through. It’s not that serious because I would never talk about her baby.” Marlo chimed in with “absolutely.”

And then, NeNe decided to fat shame Kenya, as if she didn’t actually learn a lesson from fat-shaming Porsha Williams during her pregnancy. NeNe said, “She was the size of a buffalo. I actually used the wrong words.” Marlo added, “She was huge.”
NeNe replied, “Yeah. She’s the size of a buffalo.” Marlo told her, “That’s what you should have said.” What universe are we living in? No one “should” be fat-shaming anyone. Period.

NeNe kept it going though. NeNe said, “She was humongous, the size is of a buffalo.” That’s when Marlo whispered, “She wasn’t that big, NeNe.”
NeNe wasn’t having it though. She told Marlo that Kenya was “huge.” Marlo compared Kenya to a “baby buffalo” instead, as if that’s any less insulting. And, as expected, NeNe backed her up.
