I admit it- I can’t get enough Ramona Singer. Specifically her social media. Her Instagram is gold. She’s regularly showing off recipes that have been around forever, renaming them and passing them off as her own. She’s always giving us the best selfies – her awkwardly perched on a fancy chair or standing in her bedroom and squeezing her dog within an inch of her life (sorry, Coco). Throw in all the off-rhythm dancing videos, trips to Aspen and FaceTuning one account can manage and I will follow her for life.
But it hasn’t been all selfies and trips to Aspen for Ramona, as The Real Housewives of New York veteran recently revealed she was diagnosed with Lyme Disease. Having Lyme Disease may not have totally slowed her down, but it does mean that she has to be extra careful when dealing with the coronavirus. And the ageless beauty isn’t taking any chances when it comes to her health.
Since the quarantines have started, Ramona has treated us to social media posts of her scrubbing her hands and walking on deserted beaches in Florida. But she’s not in full isolation – Ramona has daughter Avery Singer and Mario Singer, her ex-husband to keep her company in isolation.
In a recent exclusive with Entertainment Tonight, Ramona dishes on what it’s like to hole up with her ex while she tries to stay as safe as possible. Ramona explains, “Listen, we have a lot of history together. Avery said, ‘It’s nice to have the band back together again.'”

Then, Ramona elaborated on how helpful her ex has been during this time period. The RHONY OG shared, “Listen, Mario’s been very gracious, he’s been very respectful. My immune system, he’s being very careful not to go to the store, the drug store. He goes through the drive-through, getting groceries delivered. Because my immune system is impaired.”
While all this sounds like a recipe for reconciliation, don’t get your hopes up. Ramona says she and Mario aren’t taking things any further than friendship. She is learning new things about him, though. Ramona shared, “You know what? Because Mario’s been on his own now for so long, it’s kind of nice because he really — I never knew him to be such a great cook! To make so many dishes, and he’s really good. So he’s in the kitchen.”

Ramona continued, “And he’s a real neat fanatic. So, God forbid there be any fingerprints on his Sub-Zero. He’ll be like, ‘I don’t like prints, you gotta wipe them off!’ Everything has to be, like, cleaned. Beyond. Like, you just-moved-in clean.”
It sounds like we will have weeks of fun Ramona posts ahead of us to help soften the blow of quarantine boredom. I can’t say it enough these days- thank god for the housewives.
