The messy divorce between Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan Edmonds and Jim Edmonds continues to play out in the public eye. This has to be one of the most acrimonious divorces in Housewives history.
The couple’s marriage was rocked by a sexting scandal because Jim “Dad Jeans” Edmonds seems to be incapable of keeping his Dad jeans on being faithful. Then Meghan accused Jim of cheating with their nanny. Both Jim and the nanny denied the allegations.
According to US Weekly, Jim filed for divorce on October 25, 2019, which was one day after the couple’s fifth wedding anniversary. Ouch! The Blast reported that Meghan recently dropped a bombshell during her podcast, Intimate Knowledge. She and Jim had a threesome early in their marriage with a friend of hers. Now Jim is dating that same woman. Oh, and Jim accused Meghan of cheating with other women without his knowledge. Please Meghan and Jim–stop talking to the press. The world doesn’t need to know this information.
According to People, Meghan spoke out about her stepkids during an interview on Heather McDonald’s Juicy Scoop podcast. Meghan revealed that she hasn’t been in touch with Jim’s two youngest children, Landon and Sutton. “I have no contact with them; I’ve been blocked from their phone numbers, from their Instagrams. They’ve been told things, according to Jim, that I’ve never said,” Meghan shared.

Meghan continued, “They are almost 14 and 11. [I met them] when they just turned 4 and 7. They were little. They felt like my full-blown stepkids. They were my family,” Meghan explained. “I did so much for them, like you would with anyone who was your family. So that really makes me sad. It’s not helping them.”
I am pretty sure that Jim and Meghan bickering in the press probably isn’t helpful. Meghan added, “I know they’re being poisoned, being told a lot of different things that aren’t true. They know me enough to know who I am.” And to further complicate this situation, the feuding couple shares three children together. These exes should probably should have kept their lips zipped for the sake of all their kids. But here we are.

Meghan does remain hopeful that she can connect with Sutton and Landon in the future. “But at the same time, they’re kids. They don’t want to rock the boat with their parents,” she said. “And I understand that, so I need to just let this whole thing play out and hopefully they’ll come back. But in the meantime, I’m just praying for them.”
But Jim’s 22-year-old daughter Hayley Edmonds isn’t feeling any love toward her stepmother Meghan. In October of 2019, she told US Weekly, “I think it’s impossible to be happy with someone so … I don’t know if I would say narcissistic but, she, like, creates her own problems and loves conflict and things like that. The selfishness is miserable for anyone to be around, let alone to be married to her.” Yikes! I don’t think that Meghan should get her hopes up for any warm and fuzzy family reunions.
