Kelly Dodd is no stranger to showing it all on Real Housewives of Orange County. She clearly isn’t afraid to say what she means or call out the tres amigas. In other words, Kelly is carrying this season on her back. Tamra Judge said prior to the start of the season that Gina Kirschenheiter was going to be the rockstar to watch. I guess now it makes sense that Tamra would say this, considering she’s on the outs with Kelly.
It’s definitely Kelly who carries the show. She is not afraid to put all the worst parts of herself on TV for our entertainment. Lately, a lot of good things have been coming her way. She is now engaged to Fox News reporter Rick Leventhal. Her relationship with Rick is a positive, and interestingly, she doesn’t seem to want to show this on RHOC.
According to Yahoo, Kelly won’t let her new fiancé be on camera. This conclusion however is based on one comment Kelly made in response to a fan on Instagram. After a romantic vacation with Kelly, Rick posted a picture of them kissing on Instagram, with the caption, “Miss you already.”

One of Rick’s followers commented on the post, writing, “Keep him OFF the Housewives and you’ll be fine…We don’t need the pot-stirrer Tamra or Icky Vicki [Gunvalson] around him.” As if they’d do anything to Rick. Kelly simply responded to the comment, “agreed.”

Lots of reality stars get called out by viewers and producers for not bringing certain personal relationships on camera. I think the same would hold for Kelly. However, she isn’t one to shy away from showing her romantic partnerships on the show. She’ll likely air all the parts of their relationship. A wedding always equals a contract renewal in Housewives-land. Plus, Rick is a reporter for Fox News, which is run just like a reality TV show. He knows the game and might be the perfect addition to the cast!
