It’s not about the pasta! It’s about The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City! This is not a drill! Andy Cohen announced at BravoCon that viewers are getting another Real Housewives show! Looks like Dallas is no longer the baby of the Housewives family. The majestic mountains and Mormon culture are going to be an interesting addition to the popular franchise.
One person who could shed light on what we might be able to expect is Lala Kent. The Vanderpump Rules star is actually from Utah, so she has firsthand experience on what they offer. If the cast of the new show is anything like Lala, fans won’t be disappointed. She’s one of the most outspoken and opinionated people on all of Bravo. Thankfully, she’s speaking out on her excitement for the new series!
Lala recently spoke to Page Six saying, “I’m from Salt Lake City so this was like Christmas for me!” It’s like Christmas for all of us! Everyone loves a good Housewives show. This is very welcomed because some of the existing shows (RHOBH) have been lackluster.
Anywhere that produced Lala is going to be golden in terms of entertainment value. She’s been a firecracker on Vanderpump Rules from the start. Never a dull moment.

She continued the interview saying, “And I asked [Andy Cohen], I was like, “What do you think about it?” And he was like “It’s going to be so good.” And I’m not even shocked by that because people that were raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, are crazy. So it’s going to make the best TV ever. Out of all these cities and they picked my hometown. I’m like, I told them, “Ladies, put on for my city. Please!”
If they can go crazy like Lala is known to do, the show will do just fine. Her freak-outs on Raquel Leviss and James Kennedy prove that Salt Lake City can bring the heat if needed. Handclaps and all!

Lala doesn’t know who the full cast is yet, but she’s evidently already made plans to contact them. She says, “Best believe when I find out, I will be sliding into all of their DMs!” She really embraces her “Give them Lala” catchphrase. She’s already coming off a little psycho like a stalker fan instead of excited.
Even though Lala is from Utah, she won’t be SURving us any crossovers with her mother. She said, “She runs away when cameras come to film Vanderpump! I can’t get her out of the bedroom. I’m like “You don’t wanna film anything? ” She’s like “No! All I want to do is save dogs at the animal shelter.” I’m like “Alright girl. Do you boo.”

As much fun as it would be, it’s disappointing that viewers won’t get any crossovers. Imagine the cast of Vanderpump Rules around the unique culture of Utah residents. Without a doubt, Jax Taylor alone would be hilarious to watch in UTAH. Give us what we want!
The cast hasn’t be revealed for the new show, but Lala’s preview of what we can expect is EVERYTHING. Even though we don’t know much, the idea of it is THRILLING. However, if they’re all like Lala we won’t ever hear a word they say.
