Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is heading to Italy soon with her four daughters to visit her husband, Joe Giudice. Teresa and Joe pleaded guilty to fraud charges in 2014, and both went to prison camp. Joe, who was sentenced to 41 months in prison, never became an American citizen.
Joe was taken into ICE custody when he was done serving his prison time, and an immigration judge ordered that Joe be deported to Italy. Teresa’s husband appealed the ruling. Joe opted to leave the ICE detention center where he was held for nearly a year and head to Italy, where he will wait for the final decision on his appeal.
Of course, this reunion in Italy will be filmed by Bravo, and will net Teresa a nice paycheck. Teresa told her shocked co-stars at last year’s reunion that she and Joe would divorce if he was deported. And she didn’t look depressed when she was spotted out several times with the much-younger Blake Schreck. They were even seen strolling and holding hands. You know, as one does with a platonic friend.
When Teresa and Joe were interviewed by Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live on October 27, the anticipation was high. Joe joined his wife via video chat from Italy, and it was more awkward than the world’s worst blind date. Basically, they both said that they thought that the other had been unfaithful, and that they were unsure of their feelings for each other. It was pretty clear that Joe doesn’t appear “juicy” to his wife anymore.

But the interview also had an unexpected target–RHONJ alum Caroline Manzo. Teresa insinuated that Caroline was the one who tattled to the feds about the Giudice’s financial dealings. US Weekly reported that Andy admitted that he wished that he had defended Caroline during his Sirius XM show Andy Cohen Live. During the October 28 episode of his show, Andy said that he did “regret” not standing up for Caroline when Teresa said, “all this horrible stuff about [Caroline].”
“I brought up … and it just hit me. It was not anything I had planned on asking her, but as I was sitting, I realized that I remember Caroline making a prediction five years ago,” Andy explained. “Her prediction was that Joe was gonna go to prison, Teresa was gonna get strong and independent, and then was gonna [file for] divorce.”

Teresa fired back at Caroline’s comments from the RHONJ clip. “How could she predict that? Could she have anything to do with what happened to Joe and I?” Teresa remarked. “Is she a rat? With her saying that? Those words would never come out of my life, regarding anybody.” Of course, if Joe and Teresa hadn’t committed fraud, they wouldn’t have landed in jail. Have these two learned anything from what they have gone through? Nope!
On his radio show, Andy commented, “Caroline’s never been to jail. Caroline has never committed a crime.” But don’t worry–Joe told his wife that he knows who the real rat is.

According to People, Caroline has already started to clap back at Teresa’s accusations. Caroline shared a series of three photos and videos to Instagram. The first one pictures Caroline standing with a podcast microphone. She tagged Dear Albie which is her son, Albie Manzo’s, podcast account.
The next slide was a video of Caroline putting together podcast equipment while the song, “If You Say My Eyes Are Beautiful” by Whitney Houston played. The song was an obvious slam about Joe’s compliment about Teresa’s eyes during the interview with Andy.

In the final slide on her Instagram, Caroline spoke to the camera while poking fun of Joe’s grammar skills. “I don’t typically dance and sing this early in the morning, but I have to laugh,” Caroline said. “I couldn’t find the word ‘beautifulest’ anywhere, I’m sorry. But you’ll be hearing from me soon.” Boom! Mic drop!
People is reporting that Andy also fielded questions about Caroline on his SiriusXM Andy Cohen Live show. A curious caller asked about how Caroline would respond to Teresa’s accusations. Andy said, “Umm, the answer is … we did speak the other day. I would say that she is not pleased and I would say that you will probably be hearing from her in some capacity. Soon.”

I know that Caroline has been off RHONJ since Season 5, but it is times like this when I really wish that she would return.
