It was shocking news when Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore and her husband, Marc Daly, decided to split up. Back in June of 2017, the fact that Kenya secretly married Marc in a private ceremony far from the Bravo cameras was also a shock. Her new husband’s refusal to appear on RHOA led to Kenya losing her peach after Season 10. How could Kenya expect to shoot a reality show that hides most of her real life?
Kenya finally realized her dream of motherhood when she gave birth to the couple’s daughter, Brooklyn Doris, on November 4, 2018. Kenya even managed to capture her full-time peach again, but it came with a huge pay cut. Kenya is making $500,000 for Season 12, but she made a cool $1.5 million for Season 10.
Now, Kenya has announced that she and her husband are over after just two years of marriage. In an exclusive statement to People, Kenya said, “It is with profound sadness that I regret to inform my fans that I am divorcing my husband Marc Daly. Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage. My sole concern and focus is and will always be my daughter, Brooklyn, my miracle baby. She was made in love and true commitment. I ask for our privacy to be respected moving forward.”
While the split initially seemed to come out of nowhere, RHOA viewers will have a front-row seat to the explosive argument that ended the couple’s relationship. Kenya reportedly confronted her husband on September 17 while he was hosting a charity event. According to RadarOnline, an insider reported that “Marc told Eva’s [Marcille] husband that he is tired of Kenya’s s**t. He called her an attention whore.” Ouch.

The same insider also claimed that Marlo Hampton overheard the discussion between Marc and Eva’s husband, Michael Sterling. Then Kenya overheard Marlo telling the other Housewives what Marc had said. A source told RadarOnline that “Marc just doesn’t want to be on TV. It is plain and simple.” But is there even more to the story? And do the RHOA ladies have bionic hearing? Just wondering.
A source told US Weekly, “Marc has had multiple affairs on Kenya. She walked away from her career for him and he had no problem with that and no problem disrespecting her.” Yikes!

But not everyone in Atlanta is buying what Kenya is selling. RadarOnline is now reporting that a source claims that “NeNe [Leakes], Eva and Marlo [Hampton] don’t believe that Kenya is telling the truth about the affairs. They haven’t said anything to her while filming yet. They’re waiting for the right time to bring it up to her,” the insider stated. Kenya’s co-stars are suspicious because Kenya never uttered a word about cheating before the break-up. I am sure this conversation will go over well.
At the beginning of Season 12, Kenya and NeNe supposedly made-up after NeNe called a pregnant Kenya a “monster” last season. Of course, that doesn’t mean that NeNe isn’t planning to get to the bottom of the rumors. The source alleges that “Now NeNe doesn’t really believe Kenya and she plans to find out what is really going on.” One piece of advice, Kenya–stay the hell away from NeNe’s closet!
