Ah yes, it’s stuff like this that gives me hope! I think fans of Vanderpump Rules collectively agree the core cast needs a bit of… refreshment. We’ve enjoyed the cheating antics of Jax Taylor for many years. Viewers have always supported what amounts to Bravo’s healthiest relationship, Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz. But we grew weary from Katie Maloney’s constant angst. Or Kristen Doute’s latest ex-boyfriend obsession. And Scheana Marie’s endless cycle of dating can provide only so much entertainment.
But now we have a flicker of light! Some fresh meat! Season 8 is finally bringing on some new cast members and by all accounts, they are shaking things up. As the veteran stars find themselves getting married and buying houses, they might be aging out of the ability to carry drunken fights and random hook-ups. But don’t dry your tears on Jax’s impending AARP card, let’s look forward to the newbies! Word on the street is, there is a new manager in town. And according to reports, he likes to play dirty. ALLEGEDLY.
Even though Pump Rules does not have an official premiere date, they apparently have a lot of content ready. Which is good news for those who enjoy the show. We already know the oldies main players have strife within their camp. Stassi Schroeder and Kristen are not speaking for the 836th time. Jax has unfollowed pretty much everyone but Tom 2 on social media. And I’m sure Katie is mad about something somewhere. We’ve also heard about the new kids on the block. Jax has already claimed the freshman class are “thirsty“, but that is coming from an extremely parched person.
Fans are thirsty for some changes, and they might be coming our way via the new TomTom manager. According to HollywoodLife, Max Boyens has entered the building and he might be one to keep an eye on. Come through for us, Max! A source close to the show shared, “Another sticking point for the drama is one of the managers at TomTom, Max. He hooks up with multiple women who are employees at Lisa Vanderpump’s various restaurants and it causes a lot of tension amongst the cast.” Of COURSE, it does. We are already familiar with how the wolves act when someone new attempts to join the trail of tears club. Remember how Lala Kent was treated? The slut-shaming brigade was on fire, “Call ’em like I see ’em!”

The insider also shared we will be introduced to three different people named, “Brett” next season. Charming. I look forward to the nicknames we will have to provide the Bretts. With that, I will allow myself to look forward to the new season. Sounds like it might be filled with something more exciting than constant complaining weddings after all. Look out Witches of WeHo, a new hot mess express is pulling into town.
