Peter Thomas reconnects with Noelle

Cynthia Bailey’s Ex-Husband Peter Thomas Shutting Down Bar Following $237,000 Tax Debt

Another day, another reality star husband reality TV cast member behind on taxes. Cynthia Bailey’s ex Peter Thomas just got hit with a major tax lien.

As a result, Peter is shutting down Sports One Bar and Lounge in Charlotte. I know it’s too little too late, but “Sports One Bar and Lounge” is far from a catchy name for an establishment. Just saying.

Anyway, TMZ reported that Peter was hit with a $237,000 tax lien. I bet he wishes he was still married to anyone earning a Bravo check Cynthia right about now. A “source close to Peter” told TMZ “the bar didn’t have enough money to stay afloat after committing funds to other projects, and the place fell behind on its taxes.” What are these “other projects”? Inquiring minds would love to know.

Sports One Bar and Lounge will shut down for three to six months while Peter attempts to clear the debt. But, with what money? Maybe Peter should pull a Lala Kent become sugar baby. He could join the cast of Lifetime’s Marrying Millions and kill two birds with one stone: get the funds he needs and some reality TV attention. Oh yeah, and gain some companionship.

Let’s not forget that Peter was arrested in Miami, Florida in March 2019. He had an out of state warrant for BOUNCING A CHECK. Yes, that’s a thing, apparently. TMZ reported that Peter did pay off that $4,000 debt eventually, but $237,000 is a lot more than that.

How is Papa Smurf going to save his bar? Will he start coming around to Real Housewives of Atlanta cast events with the hopes that he can secure some funds?
