90 Day Fiance train-wreck duo Jay Smith and Ashley Martson were seen partying together at the same event over the weekend. This is the first time the former couple were publicly together in awhile and it is a questionable encounter since Ashley had filed a Protection From Abuse Order against Jay on July 1st. He violated the order and had a warrant issued for his arrest. A mere 2 days later, Jay turned himself in to authorities.
Jay was taken into ICE custody for over four weeks and upon his release, was picked up from the detention center by then girlfriend, Kayla O’Brien. Depending on who you ask, this was the woman that Jay started a relationship with while still married to Ashley.
It now looks like that relationship has also ran it’s course. Kayla shared the news of her split with Jay exclusively with RadarOnline. She said, “we were happy, we always had a good time together. We didn’t fight, we still acted like best friends.”
So what went wrong? Other than the obvious that Jay has neither the maturity nor the desire for a serious relationship, Kayla, “always did way more for him”, presumably, than he did for her.

“Deep down, I think he is a good person, but he’s just lost,” she continued, “he was just moving on his own motives and I had mine as well. We’re different people who value different things.”
Kayla said what any 90 Day Fiance viewer already knows, “he’s a mess. I wish him peace.”

She also cautioned Jay about reconnecting with Ashley in any way. Kayla said, “God help him if he’s messing with Ashley again. All I can think of is all the hard work to reverse the damage. There’s a current PFA. If she turns on him again, he’s so f–ked. I don’t know why he would put himself in that position. I feel sorry for him.”
Was Jay messing with Ashley while he was with Kayla? Kayla was vague in her response and said simply that, “he was loyal for a period and good to me for a period, but that’s all I want to say.”

But despite how things may have ended, Kayla doesn’t regret the relationship. She explained, “I am proud of myself to have loved him and done what I did for him. Regardless of if he appreciates it now or not, he needed me and I will always be that person. Anyone I love will have unconditional love and support and he can’t take that from me.”
Jay posted a cheeky photo to his Instagram page with the text, “oh baby pour me water, holy water, quench this fire.”
