Real Housewives of Potomac Season 4 concluded with Ashley Darby finding out that she was pregnant. And, by “concluded,” I am referring to the regular season episodes. Of course, there is a reunion coming.
And there’s a lot to catch up on, especially with Ashley. And I’m not just talking about the allegations against her husband Michael Darby. Even though RHOP viewers just witnessed Ashley finding out that she was pregnant she has already given birth to a baby boy. Now that she’s settled into parenting, she has some regrets about the way she viewed mothers during her pre-child life.
In an interview with Bravo’s Lookbook, Ashley shared, “I live in sweatpants and a sweatshirt.”
She was admittedly surprised by the change in her wardrobe from fashion forward to more functional and comfortable. Ashley admitted, “When people said that — it’s so true.”

Then she shared some thoughts that she wishes she could take back. The Real Housewives of Potomac star confessed, “To all the moms who I have ever been like, ‘Girl, come on. Just shower and come out.’ I’m so sorry. It’s really not easy.” No, it’s not. And, hopefully, Ashley apologized to her friends in person if she made any of these remarks in conversation with them.
Ashley continued, “Still, I always was like, ‘Oh my God, you had the baby. Let’s keep moving.’ But, it’s really not like that at all.” Again, no, it’s not. Good for Ashley recongizing the error of her ways.

Still, it’s sort of a shame that she only sees this now that she’s a mother herself. Better late than never, right? Let’s just hope she’s learned some other lessons from her recent experiences, but something is telling me she’s going to double down on anything and everything Michael-related.
