She finally has a storyline! Congratulations to Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and Edwin Arroyave! They are expecting their third child together.
And, yes, Teddi is currently filming Season 9 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, so we should all brace ourselves for a pregnancy announcement episode and most likely some sort of fitness-related gender reveal. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if she made everyone hike to the top of a mountain to reveal if she’s having a boy or a girl.
Teddi revealed to Us Weekly, “I’m in my second trimester, 14 weeks.” This will be Teddi’s third child. She and Edwin have a daughter named Slate and a son named Cruz because pretty much every Real Housewife has a child named cruise. Looking at you, Stephanie Hollman and Kameron Westcott. Edwin also has a daughter named Isabella from a previous relationship.
Teddi said that the kids are “So excited.” She sweetly revealed, “They’ve been talking about it for a long time and actually it’s been my son who’s been like, ‘Mom, we need to have another baby,’ and I never wanted to get his hopes up. So when we told him, he was through the roof. So excited.” That’s actually very cute.

The self-proclaimed accountability coach added, “They’re already calling it ‘their baby,’ and they have names picked for if it’s a boy or a girl — they’re ready!” Is one of those names “Kyle”? It would work for a boy or a girl. If not, it would not be at-all-surprising if she asked Kyle Richards to be the godmother to secure her fourth season on the show since they’re such close friends. We just know that “Camille” and “Lisa” are off the table for sure.
As annoyingly organized as Teddi is, this pregnancy wasn’t planned. She previously went through IVF to conceive her first two children, which makes this news extra surprising for the Real Housewife.

Teddi elaborated, “It was so many rounds [of IVF previously], but this time we really weren’t doing anything! I was on vacation! Just having fun with my family! It was a complete surprise. I didn’t even know I was because I didn’t have a regular cycle.” Teddi, “just having fun”? That’s the real surprise here. If only we saw that on the show. Just once.
What an exciting time for Teddi, Edwin, and Kyle, and their kids! In all seriousness, this is exciting news for their family; congratulations to the Arroyave family!
