Safe to say Joe Giudice is on pins and needles today. The husband of Real Housewives of New Jersey felon star, Teresa Giudice has been in ICE custody since his “release” from prison. Joe and his wife both served camp jail sentences for multiple federal charges, including bankruptcy and mail fraud. The parents of four had their terms split up so their kids would always have one of them at home. Teresa ovaried up and did her time like a champ. After her release, she only had a short time with her husband before his 41-month sentence began.
Joe did his time too, but there was one little problem. His lack of US citizenship. Because Joe never sought the correct paperwork to render him legal, he was immediately up for deportation after camp time was over. Joe has been appealing the deportation order from the get-go. Leaving his family and starting over in another country wasn’t on his agenda. It wasn’t on Teresa’s either. She admitted on the Season 9 RHONJ reunion, she and the girls would not follow Joe if he were sent back to Italy. Now it looks like Juicy Joe could finally get a break. The wait for Joe’s possible release from custody might be putting Teresa on pins and needles too. But it’s for a completely different reason.
Does it seem like Joe has been gone forever? We might not think so, but I bet his daughters do. Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana Giudice have been the people most affected by the actions of their parents. Jail sucks but the damage done to kids is far worse. It has been well over three years since Joe lived with his family. Well, that might change after today. Heavy emphasis on might.
According to an interview with Page Six, Joe has a critical bond hearing today. James Leonard, the family’s attorney, said, “We are hopeful that the Court will grant him this bond.” If the bond is granted, Juicy will be able to check out of his current digs. He will then be allowed to go home while waiting out the deportation case. Should the judge rule in favor of the Attorney General’s Office, Joe will have to stick around the detention center instead. Ladies and gentlemen, this is what’s known as, “the last straw”. After today’s decision, Joe will have no further recourse regarding this case.

In November 2018, Joe filed an appeal and was released from FCI Fort Dix and placed into ICE custody. His appeal was eventually denied in April. That didn’t stop Juicy, so he filed an appeal of that decision as well. Teresa and the girls have kept going on with life. Gia celebrated her senior prom and is now off to college (holy lord, hand me the Geritol).
Milania and Gia have both been very vocal about wanting their dad home, even pleading with Donald Trump to have Joe’s sentence pardoned. Teresa has been filming RHONJ, hating Danielle Staub, taking care of Nonno, and traveling. Oh yeah, one more thing. The boyfriend Teresa definitely doesn’t have. The young gun spotted with her in Miami. Wonder what happens to this non-existent person if Joe comes home? Stay tuned, it could get Juicier than ever.
