Braunwyn Windham-Burke may be a recent transplant to the OC from Miami, but it turns out that she’s more than a little well-connected to several past Orange County Housewives.
In a new interview, the Real Housewives of Orange County newbie opened up about her deep roots with one particular OG of the OC and picked which former ‘Wife she would want back on the show.
Speaking to Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Braunwyn revealed that her family history with an original Housewife goes back generations, and no, it’s not Vicki Gunvalson.
“Jeana Keough — the first Jeana, the very first in the original — was a very good family friend of my grandparents,” the RHOC star explained. “So I started watching [the show] just because of that, and I haven’t missed an episode since.”

Hmm..that admission that she’s seen every episode certainly makes it impossible for her to claim naïveté in reaching out to alums Gretchen Rossi and Lizzie Rovsek last week, sparking her first big fight with co-stars Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador. But on another note, how incredible would it be to see Braunwyn and Jeana together on camera?
However, when asked by The Daily Dish to name which RHOC alum she would choose to return to the show, the rookie didn’t choose her old family friend. Or Gretchen or Lizzie, for that matter.

Instead, she picked none other than Heather Dubrow, the only truly correct answer to that question. (Think about it: Heather’s exit after Season 11 kicked off the chain of poor casting decisions and low base bull***t that gave us two of the most boring and unwatchable seasons in Housewives history. Other acceptable runners-up include Lizzie and Alexis Bellino.)
And Braunwyn‘s not finished just yet! It turns out she’s also somehow pals with Meghan Edmonds — who filmed an upcoming guest appearance for Season 14 — as evidenced by a recent day out the two blondes shared at the Long Beach Aquarium with three of Braunwyn’s kids.
