At this point, when a Real Housewife joins the show, viewers expect to meet her husband (if she’s married), her kids (if she has some), and her glam squad because, at this point, pretty much every Housewife employs a group of hair stylists and makeup artists that love being on TV. As over the top as that is, it does make some sense that they want to look and feel their best in front of the high definition cameras.
Well, how about their kids? Is it OK for them to get the same treatment for their kids. Recently, Teresa Giudice shared photos of her daughters on their first day of school. And now, the mommy shamers out in full force, hating Teresa for letting Audriana Giudice get her hair done for the first day of fifth grade.
Teresa shared some super cute photos of Audriana. She was wearing an adorable denim outfit, zero makeup, and curled hair with a small braid. In the caption, Teresa thanked the woman who styled Audriana’s hair. She looked age appropriate and adorable, but Instagram users went off on Teresa’s parenting for this decision.
One person commented, “Why can’t they do their own hair? Umm called spoiled.” For getting her hair curled one time?

Another person felt like Teresa should have styled Audriana’s hair herself, writing, “Why didn’t you do her hair?” She probably doesn’t know how. Roll the tape back. The first couple seasons of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa rocked her natural curls and left it at that. Then, the glam squad came in, Teresa got extensions, and she (probably) hasn’t done her own hair since. And let’s not forget Teresa’s pre-prison interview with Andy Cohen when she admitted that she didn’t know how to blow dry her own hair. Truly iconic.
One hater wrote, “She’s going to school not a photo shoot. Seriously had someone do her hair? Geez I guess whatever it takes to be noticed and get attention! How’s your husband, remember him??? Obviously not!!!” What does Joe Giudice have to do with a few curls and a braid? Did anyone stop and think that life has been pretty tough for little Audriana in her dad’s absence? Why can’t she just get her hair done real quick?

A different “fan” commented, “Nice. Glam squad already.” Rude.
There were at least some people who didn’t think the hair styling was a big deal. One person told Teresa, “You are a great mama, forget the bad comments and keep doing what you do.”
