The alternate universe of a charmed life in SoCal was a hit ten years ago and, as proven by the popularity of The Hills is still irresistible today. The life of an ultra-wealthy group of friends with problems only the 1% could dream of still draws in the viewers. We watched them living off their parents money in their early 20s. On shopped and partied their way into our hearts. A decade later, and some have added spouse and children into the mix. Maybe that makes the cast more relatable, aside from the obvious opulence of their houses, plastic surgeries, and wardrobes.
Also these days fans can keep up with the cast on social media. Maybe their real-time antics can be a bit of a spoiler, but it’s still fun to tune it and see how it went down. Take Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter. These two newlyweds seemed happy enough, though they were unable to agree on when to start a family. So when Kaitlynn was photographed making out with Miley Cyrus, it was a shock for fans who were still watching her onscreen with Brody.
Kaitlynn and Miley arrived together to the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards Monday night. According to an article from Entertainment Tonight, they were very affectionate with each other and packing on some serious PDA.
Brandon Lee was also at the event. He was jokingly asked if Miley might make an appearance on the show now that she is with Kaitlynn. Brandon replied, “yeah, that’d be f–king hilarious. That’d be amazing.”
Brandon is friends with both Kaitlynn and Brody. He reacted to their split at a prior event, “I’ve been kind of out of the loop, but I don’t know, I know Brody’s fine. To be honest, I was so surprised. They seemed happy to me.”

“It’s just tough, you know? It’s tough because I’m close with both of them and they really do love each other. I mean they were such a great couple and it’s always sad seeing a couple like that split up,” Brandon continued, “but you know, as everyone sees they’re being very amicable about it and I don’t really think there’s any bad blood. It’s tough. It makes me sad, to be honest.”
Brandon started a new romance on the show, though he hesitated to label it as exclusive. He opined about marriage and relations, “I think signing a piece of paper doesn’t necessarily like, you may legally be married to somebody but, you know, I think as long as…I don’t know, it’s more of an understanding. If you love a person and you think they’re your soulmate..y’all are married! You know, you’ve been together five years. Like, it’s devastating to see them split up, but you know, obviously, I support them both in whatever the want to do and I’ll be the same moving forward with either one of them.”
