Below Deck Returns For Season 7 In October- Meet The Cast & Check Out Their Photos

The reality TV gods surprised us with a new Below Deck Mediterranean episode tonight and a Below Deck trailer for Season 7 in the same day. We. Are. Not. Worthy.

As per usual, Captain Lee Rosbach and Chief Stew Kate Chastain are back for a new season. For the most part, it’s a whole new cast, except for Ashton Pienaar who will return with a promotion as the crew’s bosun. They pretty much had to ask Ashton back since he almost died last season. That, and he kept us all entertained with his hookups throughout the season. How will he handle a powerful position this time around? No, that was not a reference to his crow’s nest hookup positioning. But, yes, Ashton will “hang out” with another female coworker in the crow’s nest. But he is far from the only person getting physical next season.

In the trailer that People shared, Kate describes the Season 7 cast is the “most attractive deck crew” she has ever worked with. I was already excited to watch this season and now I am even more enthused. Kate gets even more direct with the new deckhands Brian de Saint Pern and Tanner Sterback. She tells them “If it weren’t unprofessional, I would bang both of you.” And how professional is it to say that?

It’s unclear if she actually ends up with either of those guys, but she’s shown getting physical with someone from the cast in the Season 7 trailer.

There seems to be a love square going on with the deckhands and the Second Stew Simone Mashile and the Third Stew Courtney Skippon.

Ashton takes deckhand Abbi Murphy to the crow’s nest for, you know, some typical bonding between a boss and a crew member. Abbi declares, “Waking up next to your boss is the most awkward thing.” And it’s even more awkward while filming a super popular reality TV show and reliving the hookup months later.

While Ashton seems to get along with Abbi (for a night, at least), he does have issues with someone in his deck crew, although it’s unclear who. He tells Captain Lee that there is a “part of this crew that is just not bonding with the rest of [them].” And Captain Lee even ponders firing someone in the middle of a charter.

He declares, “If anybody thinks that I won’t fire somebody in the middle of a f*cking charter, they don’t know me.” Do it, Captain Lee. And apparently there’s a “shocking departure,” which means that someone from the past will return. But, of course, no one was named.

And maybe Kate is that shocking departure, not that Captain Lee would ever actually fire her since they are so close. However, she might quit since she storms off and tells Chef Kevin Dobson “Go find another Chief Stew.”

Below Deck returns for Season on at 9 PM on October 7 on Bravo and it seems like we are in for another amazing season full of hookups and plane tickets home.
