During the last Real Housewives of Orange County season, we barely saw any parts of Gina Kirschenheiter’s life. Other than the bright eye shadow, propensity for sequins, and just all-around questionable styling, of course.
Her then-husband Matt Kirschenheiter didn’t ever appear on the show and she just acted like it was normal that he had an apartment that she had never been to three hours away. This season, Gina is OPENING UP. She is talking about her DUI. She confirmed what we all suspected: Matt cheated on her. What else will she share? If her onscreen persona is half as dramatic as the divorce drama that has played out in the press, fans are in for a tumultuous season of RHOC. And some ratty blonde extensions (unfortunately).
Gina is officially divorced! And she still has a restraining order against Matt, who allegedly threatened to kill her while their kids were home. At one point, Gina even claimed she had photographic evidence of physical harm he allegedly inflicted on her.
Obviously, these super public allegations came into play when the judge worked out their child custody agreement. They have three kids, ages three to seven. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Gina was awarded primary custody.

She will also receive close to $10K a month in combined child support and spousal support payments. This part of the ruling is very interesting since Radar Online reported that Matt was “let go” from his job in July. Did he find another job?
Yes, Matt will still get to see the kids, but with some major restrictions. He will undergo routine alcohol and drug tests. When he picks up the kids, he can only do so “curbside,” i.e. he cannot go inside the house. And if he and Gina are at an event for their children, he has been ordered to stay at least sixty feet away from her. So much for popping up on RHOC Season 15. Kidding.

Considering how nasty things have been between these two, there is probably some drama to come. And now that Gina is finally opening up, we might just hear more personal details on the show.
TELL US- DO YOU THINK THE DRAMA IS DONE BETWEEN GINA AND MATT? WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE RESTRICTIONS ON MATT’S VISITATIONS WITH THE KIDS AND THE RESTRAINING ORDER?
