During her press day promoting the show on August 8, Kelly Dodd spoke out regarding her broken friendships with her cast mates.
In an interview with People Now, Kelly blamed the demise of her friendship with Shannon Beador on an argument she had during filming with co-star Tamra Judge.
“I’m totally cool with Shannon,” Kelly said. “I have no problem with Shannon; Shannon and I got along very, very famously throughout the whole season. However, I ended up in a bad foot because I told Tamra off. That’s why.”

In typical Kelly fashion, the outspoken RHOC Housewife didn’t mince words when it came to what she thinks about Tamra and Shannon‘s friendship.
I mean, Shannon just needs to get her a** out of Tamra‘s butt and everything would be cool,” she said with her famous penchant for mixing metaphors. “I don’t have a problem with [Shannon], but she is so far up Tamra’s butt that now we have a problem? It’s just, she’s so influenced by this Tres Amigas crap…I did nothing to Shannon. I did nothing to her.”

Kelly also declared during the interview that she was most surprised (for the worst) by Tamra this season.
“Tamra and I used to talk on the phone every single day, and I had no idea that she was talking behind my back so much,” Kelly said. “And not in a good way. Just like throwing me under the bus any which way she can, you know? She likes to get the beehive, hit it and then run away. I was just shocked how she kind of just turned on me.”
As for why her frenemy destroys relationships, Kelly pointed to bad blood between Tamra and a litany of her former castmates.

“I’m really good friends with [former RHOC Housewives] like Alexis Bellino and Gretchen [Rossi] and Lizzie [Rovsek] and Lauri Peterson,” Kelly explained. “And you know, she never gets along with any of her old castmates, and that kind of just tells you a little bit about who Tamra is.”
However, Kelly is still holding out hope to repair her friendship with Shannon in the future with one major caveat.

“I can tell you this much,” she said, “if Tamra got cut out of the picture, Shannon would be running right after me. Guaranteed.”
