Even though Katie Rost is just a part-time cast member on this season of Real Housewives of Potomac, she’s coming through with some tea during tonight’s episode. Katie and her boyfriend Jacob, who is not the guy Katie just got engaged to, spread some rumors about Michael Darby because are you even a cast member on this show if you aren’t talking about Michael Darby?
Michael may as well be a full-time cast member. Well, minus that whole suspension from filming think for allegedly getting handsy with an RHOP cameraman. The ladies have been shading Ashley Darby and her marriage for years all season, but she’s doing everything she can to deflect from scandal.
Ashley thinks that randomly searching for birth father is a more interesting storyline than the mystery that is Michael Darby. She is wrong, but she is trying hard to make this a thing. Bless her heart. She will not distract us from Michael’s messiness.
Monique Samuels is about to become a mother of three and it may happen sooner than she expected.

While Monique thinks her water just broke, Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant throw her under the bus for camera time. The self-proclaimed green-eyed bandits tell Candiace Dillard (and Candiace’s meddling mother Dorothy) that Monique showed Ashley texts with what Candiace’s commentary on Michael’s recent scandal. This is really such a moot point since Candiace has said way worse things on social media since the season started airing. Candiace couldn’t control her Twitter fingers on the night ASHLEY GAVE BIRTH TO HER FIRST CHILD.
Whatever she said in those texts to Monique can’t be nearly as bad as the shit she has been tweeting all season. Nevertheless, anything Michael Darby-adjacent is a go-to storyline for all of these women. At least we don’t have to watch Gizelle and Robyn’s attempts to renovate houses again. Although it was nice to have those segments as an excuse to get up and grab a snack, they were straight-up filler.
