Congratulations are in order for Real Housewives of Potomac OG Katie Rost! Aside from her return to the show this year, she has something else to celebrate: an engagement! And, no, it’s not to the guy Jacob that she was with during last night’s episode.
It’s actually a new guy named Jesse, who has a private Instagram account and his last name is unclear.
According to an article from People, Katie and Jesse have only been dating for five months. But when you know you know, right? Hopefully that’s the case and these two end up walking down the aisle and, ultimately, staying together. We shall see. Maybe Katie will return to Real Housewives of Potomac as a full-time cast member next season instead of a Friend of the Housewives. Bravo sure loves a Real Housewife wedding episode. And a Real Housewife bachelorette party episode.
On an episode this season, Katie gave Robyn Dixon a house tour and pointed out her favorite part of the property: the location where she got engaged during Season 1. Even though that relationship didn’t work out, it was still her favorite spot at the house. Maybe this new guy proposed at her house as well and she can have a new favorite.

Katie shared the engagement news with an Instagram post on July 26. She shared a close up of the ring and wrote “An heirloom ring, and I said yes. We are engaged! Jesse’s mom loves this ring. I am proud to wear it.”
In another post, Katie said thank you for the well wishes and included the hashtags #TheKatieFactot and #NowLetsPlanAnIndianWedding. Maybe the Real Housewives of Potomac cast trip will be in India next season. You never know.
