It’s great to have Southern Charm back again, but it’s not the same without a true villain on the show. Sure, there are times when the audience is “against” almost every cast member, but there was nothing like continuously hating on Thomas Ravenel.
Nevertheless, he doesn’t deserve to be on this show. However, his ex-girlfriend Ashley Jacobs returns during tonight’s Southern Charm episode. Ugh. This just reaks of a forced storyline, right?
We have Eliza Limehouse to thank for this one. Why is someone still trying to make Eliza happen. It’s never going to happen. She’s been on this show before. No one cared then and no one cared now. She just doesn’t fit in with this group as friend, or even as a formidable villain. Why do we have to watch her? And why is she hosting events and inviting Ashley? Ugh.
Eliza laments, “I tried. I wanted her to come and apologize.” No one asked you to try. Someone who is barely a part of a group should not be trying to settle old scores. This is way above your pay grade, Eliza. Furthermore, Ashley was never a part of the group. She was just an interloper who made cruel comments.

That’s why no one is happy to see her tonight.Whitney Sudler-Smith calls her out for talking shit about his mother Patricia Altschul. Cameran Eubanks asks why Ashley said they were “all losers” on Twitter. Austen Kroll tells Ashley “It’s just impossible to believe a single word that comes out of your mouth.” No one can.
