90 Day Fiance’s Jay Smith may not be in the United States for much longer. I’m sure estranged wife Ashley Martson won’t be shedding any tears over this information.
The couple has experienced quite a bit of turmoil in the short time they have been married. And now Jay is facing possible deportation.
According to People, Jay was taken into custody Wednesday for violating an outstanding protection from abuse order. The local police cited on their website they were”[investigating] a report of a PFA violation” against Conroy Smith, Jay’s legal name.
“The protected party lives in Upper Allen Township and reported a social media post made by [Jay],” the website continued, “Which was in violation of the order.” Because he violated the order, an arrest warrant was issued and on July 3 Smith was “taken into custody without incident.”
Back on July 1, Ashley had been granted an order of protection after alleging Jay broke into her home. “I filed a PFA, and I took all the evidence in on Monday,” she told Celebuzz! in an interview, “Jay was served at 7:10 pm on Monday, and it specifically said in there ‘you’re not allowed to talk about this PFA or Ashley at all on any social media platforms.”

Ashley claims Jay violated the order the very next day by “[going] on social media and [making] a post.” Ashley also stated that she had filed for his green card but then retracted it “because he cheated on me again.”
Fans of the show learned that Jay cheated on Ashley with a woman he was tattooing. Apparently, having a tattoo is foreplay for some people. And the two hooked up in the barber shop where Jay rents space. In April, Ashley filed for divorce for a second time and it seems as though this might be the final time.
Currently, Jay is in ICE custody and is “getting put into the facility,” a spokesperson told Radar. “It looks like he’s going to be going through the motions. He will see an immigration judge to see if he’ll be deported.”

It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that this relationship imploded. Jay never came across as someone who was ready for married/family life. Even if for some reason Ashley decides to withdraw her divorce Jay needs to follow through if he can. These two are just not meant to be.
