It’s official, Vanderpump Rules fans– Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor are hitched! The couple made it official on June 29 and got married at the Kentucky Castle. Nearly every Pumps Rules star was at the wedding. Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval performed “best men” duties, while Lala’s fiancé, Randall Emmett, and SUR manager Peter Madrigal stood up for Jax. Katie Maloney attended Brittany as her matron of honor. Lala Kent, Ariana Madix, Scheana Marie, Stassi Schroeder and Kristin Doute served as members of the bridal party. Other Bravo guests included former Summer House stars Stephen McGee and Lauren Wirkus and Southern Charm star Shep Rose.
John Legend and his wife, Chrissy Teigen, are such fans of the show that they were invited to the wedding. Alas, the superstars didn’t attend. Can you imagine if they had been there, and John serenaded the couple at their reception?
Randall flew Lisa Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd, to Kentucky by private jet. Lisa was originally going to officiate the wedding but had to withdraw after her mother passed away unexpectedly. In fact, it was unclear if Lisa would be able to attend at all. Lance Bass officiated the service. I am so glad that Lisa and Ken were able to be there for the celebration.
Of course, one important person was missing from the festivities, but Jax and Brittany made sure that he was still part of their special day. Bravo’s The Daily Dish reported that the couple left one chair empty at the service, with a photo of Jax’s late father, Ronald Cauchi, on it. Jax posted a photo to his Instagram of the chair. “My dad, always early,” Jax wrote. What an amazing tribute to his father.

Ronald passed away in December of 2017 from cancer. Jax broke the sad news on Twitter. “My heart is broken, I lost my best friend and the best man I have ever met last night, I love you so much dad I can’t even breathe anymore, only person not letting me fall right now is my amazing girlfriend. I love you dad,” Jax wrote.
Jax also paid tribute to his dad by using the inheritance that his father left him to purchase Brittany’s engagement ring. As a result, Jax revealed that every time he looks at his fiancée’s ring, it reminds him of his father. I really love how Jax and Brittany honored Jax’s father at their wedding. What a sweet way to include Jax’s dad on such a momentous day. Congratulations and best wishes once again to the newlyweds!
