Real Housewives Of Orange County Premiere Date Revealed & Vicki Gunvalson Gets Demoted; Check Out The New Cast Photos

Guys!  The new trailer for Real Housewives of Orange County is here!  And, in important news, the trailer did not include a single mention of Shannon Beador’s weight, Vicki Gunvalson’s love tank, or any faux diseases of any kind.

The past few seasons of the RHOC have been really, really boring.  But maybe,  like Tamra Judge’s ass right before a fitness competition,  the flagship series has shaped up.

Set your DVRs because, according to Us Weekly, the new season debuts August 6, and is full of drama, alcohol, and blonde extensions.

The biggest news is obviously the demotion of the OC’s OG.  That’s right, friends, despite her adamant protests to the contrary, Us Weekly confirmed that Victoria Gunvalson will not be clutching an orange in her engagement-ring-adorned fingers for Season 14.  It seems that the powers-that-be determined that Vicki’s engagement to Steve Lodge isn’t sufficient to carry a storyline after all.  No biggie, she’ll be back full-time when they divorce.

Even though she doesn’t have an orange, she still has a beef with Kelly Dodd, who yells “I don’t do cocaine and I’m not a whore.” And Vicki still can’t let go of Kelly calling her fat as if those are equivalent insults.

The trailer also introduces Vicki’s replacement.  Us Weekly reports that the new girl in the cast is Braunwyn Windham-Burke.  We don’t know much about her yet. I just know I will to have to look up the spelling of her name every time I write it. Oh, and she has seven (!) children.

Other highlights from the trailer include Tamra’s tooth falling out on a bus, Shannon kissing a bunch of dudes (get it, girl!), and Kelly rocking a ginormous diamond on *that* finger.

We are also treated to Shannon splayed out on a medical table receiving a shot of something in her no-no box, while another housewife (probably Tamra) or a medical professional bellows “think of the orgasms!” off camera.

As we all know, Gina Kirschenheiter gets arrested for a DUI.  The trailer shows Gina wailing to Shannon that “it isn’t fair.” However,  I hope Gina isn’t referring to her DUI arrest. If anything is “fair,” it’s being arrested for something that could potentially kill innocent bystanders.  Suck it up, Gina.

The ladies apparently also attend some sort of zen healing retreat.  I’ve got nothing to say about that because, frankly, it looks lovely.  Other than the sound of Shannon screeching in the background.  I can’t think of anything LESS zen than her cackle.

My favorite part of the trailer is when we see someone (I think Kelly, but it is hard to tell because she’s wearing a baseball hat) raise a glass aloft and declare cheers to “bad choices.”  If “cheers to bad choices” doesn’t sum up everything we love about our Housewives, I don’t know what does.
