There’s a certain hierarchy with 90 Day Fiance couples. Is it the length of time they have been on the series? Is it the legitimacy of the relationships, or the amount of social media attention they get? Some couples just fade into obscurity. But new spinoff 90 Day Fiance: Pillow Talk has selected some notable veterans of the show to view and react to the fourth season of the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After spinoff.
One of the couples is David Toborowsky and Annie Suwan. David and Annie drew skepticism at first. They got engaged 10 days after meeting in a karaoke bar. There is a significant age gap, and David had little to offer financially. But they stuck it out, and seem to be happy together. Now, in the middle of all the drama of the season, David and Annie were asked to share their opinion about Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou.
According to an article from US Weekly, David and Annie are underwhelmed by Azan and Nicole’s storyline. They were introduced on Season 4 of the original series and have dealt with one dead end after another. Azan’s visa was denied, they called off their wedding twice, and finally lied about opening a hair salon in Morocco.
But it gets worse. The two have not spent any time together this entire season on Happily Ever After. Azan canceled their romantic trip to Granada at the last minute. Nicole continues to faithfully defend him.
David, understandably, doubts the validity of the relationship. He opined, “of course, always with Nicole and Azan, you want to know what’s happening. I’m just curious how many points with Western Union they have.”

Nicole’s tendency to line Azan’s pockets with American dollars is likely the glue of their relationship. One of the storylines that went awry was their plan to open a beauty shop in Azan’s native country of Morocco. Annie joked, “never have a beauty shop! I want to get my hair done in Azan’s beauty shop. It won’t happen. They don’t have a shop. I’m so mad.”
Nicole often defends Azan by saying that the show doesn’t completely capture the scope of their relationship. David acknowledges the constraints of reality TV, “because we don’t know all of the things, we’re only going on what we see. They might actually love each other. He might be into her-that we don’t know.”

All points indicate that Azan is just not that into her and David is challenging Azan to prove his feelings for Nicole or get off the series. He concluded, “get married and then talk to me. Maybe that will help.”
Annie agrees. She said, “let’s see. If this season, if they really want to get married, they will get married this season. If not, no, not another season. I’m done.”
Hopefully, TLC shares that sentiment.
