We have seen them come, go, and come back again. Some Housewives have left the fold to pursue bigger and better things. Or just fade into obscurity. Heather Dubrow departed Real Housewives of Orange County after five seasons and a volatile squabble with Kelly Dodd. It’s a shame, because while many viewers felt Heather was cold and unapproachable, she was at least legitimately rich. She had an effortlessly chic, New York flair about her, and didn’t fit in with the rest of the Orange County crew.
Fans of Heather have missed her champagne-filled quips and seeing her enormous home. Heather haters have found themselves in a quandary because who wants to see Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge fight for the 679th time? In the past, Heather has teased a comeback. She has remained friends with mostly everyone, except Kelly. Heather cited her reasons for leaving RHOC were due to spending more time with family and because she wasn’t being offered more serious roles in Hollywood. Now that we haven’t seen Fancy Pants show up on a sitcom or nighttime soap, does that mean she is considering a return to a steady paycheck reality television?
Will she or won’t she? Entertainment Tonight went behind the scenes with Heather and her podcast, Heather Dubrow’s World, for the latest scoop on a possible return to the show. She shared, “Well, I always say ‘never say never,’ because, you know, if in two years I was back on the show I don’t want to be like, ‘Well, they’re going in a different direction and I really like the way it’s going. You never know what life is gonna bring you, but I feel like I’m in a good spot [off the show].”
Her good buddy Tamra isn’t really having it. She has been campaigning for Heather to come back pretty much since she left. Tamra assures viewers she’ll continue hounding Heather about returning for as long as she stays on the show. And trust me, Tammy Sue isn’t going anywhere. Tamra stated she’ll be there “until they fire me.” Because what would RHOC be without Tamra’s lack of story line charming vulgarity?

Heather continued, “I mean, look, we’re like peeking behind the curtains of someone’s life and seeing what’s really going on, and I think when it’s authentic and we can show our true lives and interact with people that we really would have in our day-to-day lives, and with the normal interactions and drama that goes along with that, I love it and I’m completely on board,” she said. Does “normal interactions and drama” fall under the cancer scamming umbrella?
Heather made sure to clarify, “But I feel like, when certain characters — and I will say characters — are brought on to be incendiary and light the match, then that takes me a little bit back.” Paging Kelly Dodd, Kelly to the white courtesy phone, please!

Kelly and Heather had quite an on-going feud. While Kelly is not one to refrain from confrontation, Heather would rather not engage the possibility of frown lines. Heather quit the show after multiple ugly encounters with Kelly. The drama continued when cameras were down, Kelly recently took a video of Heather standing outside of a gym and posted it to her Gram. Yeah, that’s not at all odd. #drivingthattrain
Heather was asked if the chance of an RHOC return were better if Kelly took a hike. Heather offers a “yeah,” and sips on some champs. Tammy Sue shared this little nugget of info, “I feel like secretly filming might be something that happens on the show,” she teases. “Some people like to secretly film.”

With Vicki possibly being demoted to friend status, there could be a big gap. How many times can we watch Vicki get a new face? Or a new man? Is Heather SECRETLY filling that gap? While I fail to understand why it’s so hush-hush, there does seem to be a reason to think Fancy Pants may ride again.
