It seems like Tamra Judge and Simon Barney were married a whole lifetime ago. When Tamra first joined Real Housewives of Orange County, she and Simon were all about the PDA. Their biggest issue was Simon’s tension with Ryan Vieth, Tamra’s oldest son from a previous marriage.
Then we saw Simon, Tamra, and Vicki Gunvalson have a heated discussion at one of the season finale parties. In a limo on the way home, Tamra told him they were getting a divorce and that was that. Well, not really. Simon didn’t sign off to let their kids film RHOC. Their son Spencer Barney only reappeared when he turned eighteen and was able to sign his own paperwork. Their daughter Sidney Barney moved out of Tamra’s house to live with Simon full-time. And, of course, there is that infamous longstanding feud between Tamra and Sidney. All Sidney wants is for Tamra to stop talking about her on the show. However, Tamra can’t help talking about how she can’t talk about Sidney on the show, which constitutes talking about Sidney on the show, obviously. The whole thing could just be so simple, but it isn’t. Were the RHOC cameras rolling when Tamra and Simon reunited with their daughter for a school dance? Probably not, but that would have been very interesting.
Tamra and Simon reunited to support their daughter Sophia Barney, not Sidney, at her eighth grade graduation dance. Good for Sophia! Let’s just hope the acrimonious exes were able to keep things civil for her sake.

Tamra shared a bunch of photos of her daughter with the caption “8th grade dance…last post was not ‘Sophia‘ approved,” along with an eye roll emoji, of course. The first few pictures are of Sophia and her friends, all coordinating with their black dresses.
However, the most interesting photo in the series was the last one. Simon and Tamra posed for a picture with Sophia in the middle. No one actually smiled in the photo, but hopefully, it was a happy day for Sophia.
