Is this the end of an era? Is a friendship of over 30 years over forever? Shahs of Sunset star Reza Farahan is apparently done with bestie Mercedes “MJ” Javid.
Over the years fans of the show have experienced the ups and downs of Reza and MJ’s relationship. But they always managed to find their way back into each other’s good graces. Until now.
Reza recently spoke with People about where things stand with MJ. And things have gone from bad to worse. “I can never be friends with her again,” he stated.
Reza shared, “she..first she sent her little minion to come do her dirty work, then, in my opinion, she sent her husband to come vandalize my property and threaten my life.”
After the birth of MJ’s first child with husband Tommy Feight she suffered from complications. Thankfully, she made a quick recovery but then she started saying her co-stars never reached out to her while she was in the hospital.

News of problems brewing between the two started surfacing. While MJ initially touched on their fight she did not go into details. Things exploded when Reza received a restraining order against Tommy for allegedly threatening him and vandalizing his home. And that was the straw that broke the camels back.
While LAPD officers took the vandalism report, Tommy has not been charged with any crime. But Reza is more than ready to act as jury and executioner on his relationship with MJ and her husband. “…I’m dealing with thousands and thousands of property damage,” he vented, “This is stuff that you can’t go back from. You can’t undo this.”
Reza does explain how MJ could have possibly salvaged their friendship. First, she should have made a heartfelt apology after Tommy vandalized Reza’s property. Then she should have “[made] the financial situation right’ by “offering 10 times the amount [of damages].”

Reza was just looking for something from his former friend. Yet, he’s heard nothing from MJ. Which to him means she is “not remorseful and clearly she knows what she did was horrible.” I always liked Reza and MJ together. They were both crazy and self-absorbed. I’m going to keep my fingers crossed that they can eventually come back from this.
