Good news for Joe Giudice. No, it’s not the big news people have been waiting on. He did not win his deportation battle. However, he did get some small victory in this ongoing saga.
Joe gets to stay in the United States while the decision-making process plays out. However, is still in ICE custody. It does not seem like he will return to Teresa Giudice and their four daughters at home anytime soon. If at all.
The Blast obtained legal documents that revealed Joe has received permission to stay in the country during his deportation battle.
Joe’s lawyer told People, “Joe looks forward to continuing this fight to the very end. There is nothing more important to him than returning home to his wife and kids.”
His lawyer also said, “We are grateful that the Court has granted the stay.” This news comes after (yet another) temporary delay in this deportation decision.

And that’s not the only good thing that’s happened to Joe recently. His brother-in-law Joe Gorga told Us Weekly that Teresa and her four daughters visited him on May 22 for his birthday. Up until that point, the family only communicated with him via phone call.
Joe Gorga shared, “They’re able to get in! But it’s harder, it’s a tougher spot.” He also said, “It’s very hard. There are very strict rules.”
He went on to explain, “They can go back. It just takes time. A stay means you’re able to stay in the country but still in a prison while you’re going through the immigration.”

If only the Real Housewives of New Jersey cameras were allowed to film that visit. I’m sure the interactions between Joe and his daughters would be heart-warming. But what about Joe and Teresa? What was that like?
