After years of televised drama, the end has come for Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans. Truthfully, the writing has been on the wall for a while. Her husband David Eason has not been allowed to film the show. As the viewers can see, this was definitely getting to her. Clearly, she wasn’t happy filming the show.
Then, things took an unexpected turn for the worse. David killed Jenelle’s dog, bragged about it publicly, and Teen Mom 2 fired her. He also claimed that the dog bit their daughter.
Page Six reported the firing and shared a statement from the network. The statement said, “MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of Teen Mom 2 with him since.” Tell us something we don’t know.
The spokesperson continued, “Additionally we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season.” And that’s a wrap.
What are they going to do for money now? Who’s going to buy sunglasses and teeth whitener from her at this point? Better question: who trusted her product recommendations before?
Page Six also shared what David posted in a now-deleted Instagram video. He said, “I don’t give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face … whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I don’t put up with that s–t at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my life’s mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me.”

Meanwhile, Jenelle shared a super sad post about her dog on Instagram. Jenelle shared, “Nugget… I’m crying everyday. I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless. You were my side kick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me. You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons.
Everyday I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here, when I go to bed… you’re not here. You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back. #Heartbroken #Distraught.”
Jenelle also spoke about the firing in an interview with Us Weekly. Well, not exactly an interview, but she did make one comment. Jenelle admitted, “I was a little bit shocked but I saw it coming,” As did everyone else.
